These hypocrites often make their living trying to find ways around the constitution yet when their hiney gets in a bind, they are quick to assert their rights. Let me get this straight. You don't like the bill of rights when it comes to something you want to do to others, yet you want to use it when you get in trouble. Either you
take what you dish out or you respect the rights when passing laws and when the law is on your case. Opinions?

It was 1990 when the federal government first issued an ominous label for Minnesota's busiest bridge: "structurally deficient." This from
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/08/03/national/main3130372.shtml

1990 was during the first Clinton era- NOT under Bush.
Yet, some people are hollering Bush did it.

When you make remarks like that, you show the world who you really are.

Final Exam

It was the final examination for an introductory English course at the local university. The examination was two hours long, and exam booklets were provided. The professor was very strict and told the class that any exam that was not on his desk in exactly two hours would not be accepted and the student would fail. A half hour into the exam, a student came rushing in and asked the professor for an exam booklet.

"You're not going to have time to finish this," the professor stated sarcastically as he handed the student a booklet.

"Yes I will," replied the student. He then took a seat and began writing. After two hours, the professor called for the exams, and the students filed up and handed them in. All except the late student, who continued writing. A half hour later, the last student came up to the professor who was sitting at his desk preparing for his next class. He attempted to put his exam on the stack of exam booklets already there.

"No you don't, I'm not going to accept that. It's late." The student looked incredulous and angry.

"Do you know WHO I am?"

"No, as a matter of fact I don't," replied the professor.

"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" the student asked again.

"No, and I don't care." replied the professor with an air of superiority.

"Good," replied the student, who quickly lifted the stack of completed exams, stuffed his in the middle, and walked out of the room.

I am currently trying out the induction phase of the Atkins Diet. I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not chewing a lot (and I mean a lot) of sugarless gum would somehow mess with the results. Each stick has one gram of carbohydrate, but it's in the form of sugar alcohol (but not splenda), so I didn't think it should be counted in daily carb totals. An knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

I hear a lot of talk about divorce ... I have always believed the only good reasons are physical abuse or infidelity ... what does everyone else think? What justifies divorce? Is it ok if you just "fall out of love" with someone, or don't get the attention you need/want?

For example, I am Roman Cathloic. But I don't feel if I should be limited to just the Roman Cathloic Church. For example, if I would go to a Baptist Church, am I a bad person? According to the Roman Cathloic's, yes. But aren't we all worshiping the same God anyway? It's a matter of interpretation.

Anyone else feel the same way? Or at least consider themselves a non-demominatial Christian?

My son in going to be starting first grade. For K I had him enrolled in a charter school which provided a homeschooling program. He did well but his dad thinks we should give the public schools a chance (again) and not do homeschooling next year. I'm having issues with this because he did really well with the homeschooling. DH said that if there is any problem we could just start homeschooling again; however, I would like to homeschool w/o the help of a charter school if we do go back to homeschooling.
