Looking for Gloves for Handling Hot Metal?

My brother works in a machine shop, and he handles hot (glowing hot) metal all day. He could use a better pair of heavy duty gloves. I would spend up to $100.00, I know nothing of gloves, any suggestions.

look for a glove made of asbestos/kevlar/nomex blend..welding shop look there
