I could find out what you can do? I cant pay the entire bill and I need to know what the law says about it? How can you research that? I just piad a payment yesterday! But...I am still behind! Any advice you have I would appreciate it?

I think you maybe able to file bankruptcy and still keep the house. I know it sounds drastic, but depending on how much you are in debt, it might be an option. What about debt consolidation for your other debts, that might help. Call the lender who holds your mortgage. Sometimes they let you defer up to 3 months payments so you can get caught up. I have done that. Take a breath...everything will be ok. And I will say a prayer for you!

Why can't your husband talk to the bank...and, this should be something you should both be doing together dear! Oh sweet AmyE...call the DFACS Department Of Family and Children's
Services and see if they can lead you to the right people. I know sometimes our church helps people out in times like these, try your church if you can.

I'm sorry to here about your situation. A lot of lenders are offering programs to help and an individual try and save their homes. Call your lender and ask what options are available to you.

you may be able to refinance...Sometimes partial payments are better than none. you need to contact your lender and start talking to them.
