Ok, well my husband got invited to a bachelor party from a man he works with. He does not associate with this person at all aside from work. Ok, anyway here is what the invitation says..." bring lots of change so hopefully the strippers will do some strang things!"...lol, tasteful right! Anyway, my husband says if I feel uncomfortable about him going he wont go but I did find out that most of the other men are going. Honestly I'd rather him not go, but I dont want to seem like a jealous mean wife, lol...seriously, Im not! What would you do, would you ask him not to go or tell him to go ahead? Thanks for any advice!

I am 34 weeks pregnant and we just had a baby shower. We recieved a ton of stuff that we need and we also recieved $95 worth of gift cards. After the shower my fiance decided that he wanted to split the money and buy ourselves something. There is still a ton of stuff to get and we are short on cash. I argued with him till I was practically blue in the face about just using it for the baby since I only have 6 weeks left and we have about $1000 worth of things to buy not including diapers. I am sooo stressed out and he is the kind of guy that waits till the last min. to buy anything. I dont want that kind of stress since it is also possible that I go early. He just says that he will buy the stuff and will have to save up. The gift cards were not ment for us, they were ment for the baby and I dont know what to do. Should I spend it anyway on the baby or should I just do what he wants and split it and spend my half on the baby?

I'm 15 and I absolutely LOVE heels and dressing up all nice. Is there a way to get that look but toned down enough to wear on a regular basis?

I am a NEWBIE investor with little to no invest knowledge. I am looking to invest into a solid, reputable Mutual Fund that concentrates on the retail sector, i.e. Target, Wal-mart, etc.

If you must, please proceed from the premise that such a thing actually exists, if you can.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Why does a corporation have the same rights as I do? If this is true, why haven't many corporations been dissolved or abolished when their products kill people? If I were to commit an act such as this, I'd be thrown in prison or executed.

Sorry, I realize the wording of my question isn't so great; not sure if there is a specific term for what I am looking for.

I'm looking for a service where I can enter a topic, (let's use semiconductors as an example) and then the service will alert me or email me whenever it encounters a new article on the topic, no matter what the source (such as the WSJ, NY Times, Reuters, company press releases, etc.). The service would email me a listing of articles on some regular basis.

We have a similar service here where I work, but it is limited to topics related to our industry.

Thanks!

We had a guy at the police department who never saw combat but always hinted mysteriously "just like Nicaragua" and pretended he had been a Navy SEAL. We of course being cynical cops found out from sources he was never a SEAL. When he left the room we would always say something like "Oh yeah, just like Dinky Dao in '68" and laugh ourselves sick.
The sad part is he really thought we bought his story...

how did you enjoy the book. i jusy finishes reading it. and OMG!! it was awesome i csnt believe Fred, Lupin and Tonks die. that was so sad. i think i cried the most when Hedwig and Dobby died. rowling did a very good job with the series. but what i was thinking is not continue harry potter series but make a new series that has their children involved. so it would sort of be a continuation but a new generation continuation. know what i mean. my fave part was .... i dunno liked it all too much to have a fave part. what was your fave part of the book. and who were you sad to see die? and one more thing i cant beileve Snape had been spying on both sides the whole time. and what do u think that thing was at King's Cross Station with Harry and Dumbeldore?

A. What do you think of your home state?
B. If you're still there, would you like to leave?
C. If you're no longer living there, would you ever move back?

I'm a native of Kentucky, where I still live. I've NEVER had many friends here, just because I don't have much in common with practically anybody here.

I'm living in my "hometown," which is not my native town, and I'm still viewed and treated as an "outsider" even though I'm from KY. My dating life is w/ non-KY girls; I've met plenty of KY girls, but only ONE that was interesting to me! (Sad.)

Simply put, there are just 4-5 family members I'd miss, and THAT'S IT!

I'm moving to Texas next year to start my own life. Sure, I'd come back to KY for Christmas, Thanksgiving, weddings, and funerals, but that's it!

(If I ever come back to KY, it will be Louisville, b/c I wouldn't give you a NICKEL for the rest of the state!)

Am I crazy for leaving? What are the chances for me to return to KY anyway, do you suppose?

i hear this from liberals and it doesn't make since to me. if all religions are true then when i die i will go to christian heaven, muslim hell, sease to exsist, reencarnated, and beamed up into a space ship behind the comit hail bob. They can't be all correct. So instead of patronising everybody with this post-modern relativism bull-****, we should debate and communicate our beleifs because only one can be correct.

2+2=4, no other answer is correct.

She custom made curtains for me and charged me VERY little. I will be giving her more business as well. She took an existing curtain and changed the valances for me on two windows and charged me $150 (including spending time to come over and discuss and measure, making the valances and spending time to come over and hang them). In addition, she took a shower curtain and made it into a bathroom curtain for me and charged $20.
