Sorry, I realize the wording of my question isn't so great; not sure if there is a specific term for what I am looking for.

I'm looking for a service where I can enter a topic, (let's use semiconductors as an example) and then the service will alert me or email me whenever it encounters a new article on the topic, no matter what the source (such as the WSJ, NY Times, Reuters, company press releases, etc.). The service would email me a listing of articles on some regular basis.

We have a similar service here where I work, but it is limited to topics related to our industry.

Thanks!

Hi,

Google News has a pretty cool alert feature. It can e-mail you as soon as your search term pops up, at the end of every day, or on a weekly basis. It's free, I use it, and my experience so far has been pretty good.

Cheers,
Sensational Luke
