A. What do you think of your home state?
B. If you're still there, would you like to leave?
C. If you're no longer living there, would you ever move back?

I'm a native of Kentucky, where I still live. I've NEVER had many friends here, just because I don't have much in common with practically anybody here.

I'm living in my "hometown," which is not my native town, and I'm still viewed and treated as an "outsider" even though I'm from KY. My dating life is w/ non-KY girls; I've met plenty of KY girls, but only ONE that was interesting to me! (Sad.)

Simply put, there are just 4-5 family members I'd miss, and THAT'S IT!

I'm moving to Texas next year to start my own life. Sure, I'd come back to KY for Christmas, Thanksgiving, weddings, and funerals, but that's it!

(If I ever come back to KY, it will be Louisville, b/c I wouldn't give you a NICKEL for the rest of the state!)

Am I crazy for leaving? What are the chances for me to return to KY anyway, do you suppose?

A I love my home state, but the people who biult the roads were NUTS
B. I am still here, I don't want to leave
C still here

I stayed because I had a good job, I was close to my family, the were just a short drive away, not an airplain flight away. I already had my group of friends, and really good friends, I didn't want to move to another state and have to be that girl that didn't fit in, who had no clue how to get around, I couldn't network for another job. It was so much easier to stay here.

But that doesn't mean I don't go on VACATION people, I saw SOME of the world.....

Im currently living in my birth state but not my birth town (born in orlando live in miami). I eventually want to move up to NY or somewhere up north more (i live in FL). I love Florida but i just cant stand the heat, even though i lived here for about 17 years (for 2 years i moved around alot) i still cant get use to the heat. But once i do move I know Ill miss everyone whos here and my husband deffently will to because ALL of his friends are here.

I dont think you are crazy for leaving, Its good to get out and start your own life. My husband and I plan on doing that some day. The chances of you moving back all depend on YOU. Good luck on the move from KY to TX! I hope everything works out for you!

I'm living in a different state from where I was born. I've moved around quite a bit over the last 5 or 10 years - different states, back home, overseas, back home, etc etc.
You can always go home. You have to explore the world while you are young and before you settle down.

I was born raised, educated and still live in New York State.
It has changed a lot (I'm 84 years old) in all these years,it has become a very leftist and liberal State with an enormous influx of illegals from all over the world. I would like to leave, but where to go? It;s the same everywhere.

I'm from Illinois and I like most things about my state. It's really expensive, though, because we have more taxes than other states. I live in a rural area, which is great. I may move someday, but I don't know where. Most of my family is in Iowa, so that's the most likely place. But all my friends are here... I don't know. As long as I'm in the country, I suppose I could live anywhere. :)

I moved away from my home state almost 15 years ago. I used to miss it a lot at first, but every time I go back to visit, I always regret going. I am not sure why. If I HAD to move back I would, I have peeps there, but I wouldn't do it just to "go back home."

I'm from New York, and I don't like it but for now I still live there (although I did move away for a time); and when I move away, I would probably only come back to visit.

: )

go! go! go!

remember "you can never home again".... in ur case i'd say that's a good thing

i've lived in alot of different places in my life. not alot of people like Houston, but Dallas is better. i have found that cosmopolitian areas are best. college towns too. people are more willing to make friends with u because they're new there. a small town is harder to break into, unless u have money. then it's easier.

have fun with ur new life.
