Hey, everyone. I'm fourteen years old, and no matter how hard I've tried over the years, I just can't get the hang of tying my shoes. I don't get it - it's not like I'm stupid, I'm an A student, yet I can't do something as simple as tie my shoes. This is an issue I'd like to address so I can personally, you know, tie my own shoes and not worry about it all day when they come untied, or having to do some weird "tuck them in" trick at the bowling ally. Please, if you have any advice on how to teach an older dog a young dog's trick, please help.

I see it all the time here. Hillary is a Socialist, Obama is a Socialist, Edwards is an ambulance chaser.

The dealer has had my car on and off for a month. They think it is electrical. They have replaced the body control module and it is still dying. It just stops while driving like someone pulled a plug. It will start right back up and drive for a while longer sometimes all day sometimes it dies again in a few minutes. The first time I had it in the shop it drove that way for a week then died and wouldn't start back up and I had to have it towed. I have replaced the battery and fuel filter. They say the alternator and fuel pump are not the problem. Does anyone have any other ideas I can have the dealership check? They seem to not be able to figure it out. I don't know if this is related but the car has also had problems with the windshield wipers coming on at random and I can't turn them off. So far since they replaced the body control module this hasn't happened. So they may be two different electrical module problems. Thanks for any help and ideas for solving this problem!

I bought an item from a large retailer for around $1500.00. I canceled the order a few days later. They told me it would be fine, wouldn't ship, etc.

The next day I got an email it shipped. I called again since my card had been charged and I asked them to re-route the package back to them before it go to me (it's big). They said they would. NP.

The packages (its a few shipments) started arriving and the tenants under me signed for them and accepted them on behalf of me when I wasn't home.

I called again, they credited my card the full amount, and said they would send a dispatcher to come and get the items.

I can't return it to the store because I'm worried they may claim I still have it later, besides the fact that it's COMPLETELY out of my way and a HUGE burden.

They never came to get it. I called again, they still never came.

They sent me an email saying the order was closedt/aken care of.

I have the items, I have the credit.

...What would you do?

I just asked a very clear question about how redundant and annoying the total monopolization of this site due to Harry Potter fans was and all I received were attacks.

1. I have read all the books, furthermore I work for Scholastic Press who publishes them, so I read them weeks before you guys did
2. the fact that you bother posting your critical responses and whining about "i'm not a kid!!!!" proves ... yeah, you're a kid
3. i never said HP was for kids OR adults...you people assume too much

I understand. You kids grew up with Harry and think theres some kind of personal connection to him. Precious, honestly. However, just because you're offended that not EVERYONE wants to constantly discuss this exhausted subject is no reason to post vile statements accusing me of things that are not true. You guys just assume whatever you like about me, then bash me because I have a life and think HP is just a passive fad.

I guess i need help understanding. What does it mean when people say Christ is the savior? I know they say, he died for our sins. But how can a man save humanity? I don't need help solving it, but just understanding the context of what it's trying to ask:

Calculate the percent composition by mass of the following compounds that are important starting materials for synthethic polymers:

Ex: C3H4O2

So what is this question asking? Is it just finding what percentage an element accounts for in the whole compound?
So I would say something like Carbon accounts for 50% of the compound??
