Here is a photo, of a service held at Alto Pass, IL. The Bald Knob Cross was originally built by a denominational church, but then was opened up to all Christians for worship, and special events. This picture shows, 'The Blessing of the Bikes'. It's an annual event, but there are many other services there.

Non-denominational merely means that they are not associated with one of the denominational governments that exist. This gives them the freedom to operate without having a massive hierarchy outside their congregation to answer to. They can hire whoever they want for pastor positions, rather than someone who is ordained in a particular denomination (or someone who is not ordained, if they choose). Generally, all Christian worship services are on Sundays--some have additional services on other days, but almost all will have at least one Sunday morning service (the predominant exception being Seventh Day Adventists, who are an organized denomination). They believe the same basic tenets of Christianity as other defined churches.

Well, I had to think about the question. Correctly as stated, there are non-denominational churches. Denominations came out of the Catholic Church through Protestantism. All Protestant churches are denomination churches. I worship at an assembly which is not denominational. Our assembly is part of a movement. I affiliate with the, "church of 'GOD'", and our assembly affiliates with the, "church of 'GOD'", Reformation Movement

I'm a non-denominational Christian. Yes, we have churches; they are local churches that aren't controlled by a central dogma (other than what is reflected in the Bible), nor are they controlled by a board of directors, as churches within the denominations are.

I once attended a non-denominational Christian church. Although it does seem like a bit of an oxymoron.

Yes there is such a thing. I used to go to that kind of church....that is the only good church I ever attended. It is not biased. And I also pray at home all the time.

You DO know that non-denominational is--regardless of race, creed, or color.
ANYONE can believe in Christ.
If you attend one, you are either a Christian ( or you' re NOT.)
Christian--Meaning you believe in Christ.
No matter the 'denomination.
Actually, you are RIGHT!
You CAN worship Christ from wherever you are!
(My opinion)

It is kind of odd but the term Non-Denominational has come to be a denomination.
