This has been bugging me...When Kreacher was telling his story about how he went with Regulus into the cave with the locket horcrux, he said Regulus drank the potion (before, when Kreacher and Voldemort went into the cave, Kreacher mentioned that Voldemort put more potion into the bowl holding the locket), but Kreacher didn't have extra potion to but back in the bowl. How is it then, in book 6, there is potion in the bowl for Dumbledore to drink?

I just read an article discussing how people (women moreso) are viewed as less nice when they ask for what the want. In this particular article it was dealing with salary. I thought that it was interesting that in knowing what you want and asking for it you are considered less nice.
I have been called mean before and I don't understand why, I don't intend any harm on people and most of the times I am called mean I'm just protecting my own rights.

I guess my questions is it a bad thing to ask for what you want?

I think beginning in 2009, MLB should cut out Interleague play because it takes away the excitment of the World Series. The All-Star Game should not count in determing the World Series. The team with the best record should have home-field advantage in the world series. There should be only four divisions, AL EAST AL WEST, NL EAST NL WEST and there should be 8 playoff teams and have a similar format like basketball. Have the season start next to last Monday in March and end the next to last Sunday in September, so there will be more playoff action and cut back on spring training. What do you think of this proposal?

I'm trying to decide between a 15" Macbook Pro or a Dell 1520. I've priced both of them out to have the same specs. except that the Dell only goes up to a 2.2 ghz Dual-Core processor instead of the 2.4 which apple offers. I'm a college student majoring in Mass Communication Technology with a certificate degree in computer animation and graphic design. The Macbook costs more even with the student discounts but I've been having issues with my desktop PC lately so I'm wondering if the apple OS would be the better choice. On my desktop I'm running windows XP and on the Dell Inspiron the only OS they offer is Windows Vista, of which I'm very scepticle. Anyway I figure I'd also get an mp3 player to go with the computers also, an 80 GB ipod if I go with apple, or a 30 GB Zune if I go with Dell. Apple's financing is much better than Dell's, but again the Apple is about a $1,000 bucks more than the Dell, even with all the trimmings, taxes n' such. Let me know what you'd get. Thanks.

well about 1 month ago I ran into an old friend I gave him my number he gave me his. A couple of days later he called me for a ride home from work. So why not. That nigh he was arrested for 78 bags of herion. So after that I stop accocating with him.. a couple of weeks later im pulling into my drive way with my 6 month old girl 3 cops come up from behind say " Your under arrest" I say for what "they say for selling herion" " I ask to see the warrent thay wont show it to me" they search me and of course find nothing.. so they let me go...
1 week later DCF shows up with a statement from the cops accusing me of being a drug dealer. With no proof Ive never been arrested. But now I had to give my girl over to my parents or she would go into foster care while DCF does there 45 day Investication. DCF Says Im a risk factor becasue The cops made a statement saying IM a drug dealer. So thats what DCF thinks Guilty intill proving innocent.

When foreigners say American(as in USA) what race do you generally mean?(or do you think they mean)

I asked 4 exchange students one from China, one from Brazil, and one from Germany, and one from Middle East(really Africa)
When I asked this question they said "white race" is what they mean when they refer to an "American" whether good or bad. Now why is that? Native Americans where the first here.

Anyone can answer, but I just wanted foreigners to answer as well.

okay, i won four tickets for the seattle-chargers preseason game. i have never used ebay before so bear with me. i emailed the guy who has the tickets and he said that he will get the tickets from the chargers in a week and then he will mail them to me. my question is when should i pay him? now? when he says he mailed the tickets? or when i get the tickets?

We send money to the taxpaying innercity and it's called a waste. We send money to the source of ALL western wealth(africa) and it's considered a waste. We send a disproportionate amount to israel, which is home to only a few people and is part of an endless cycle of terror and that's justification to send more- We should offer them state hood after we force a joint israeli-palestinian government and everyone that opposes that, is an obstacle to peace. Aid to israel is the biggest waste of resources on planet earth. It has caused 100 holocaust and prevented any incentive for israel to be fair with its neighbors nevermind breeding unyielding resentment. It doesn't even work for israel to be a jumping off point for america to undermine africa and the middle-east because they attack israel in retaliation. How much hardship does israel suffer due to this unholy relationship- The aid isn't working, the occupation isn't working. If it were Nigeria or Detroit the $ would have dried up

1. If you add a few chunks of ice to a tstyrofoam container with water and do not stir it, then teh temperature of the mixture would be significantly higher than the expected 0 degrees C. Please explain what is happening.
