No. We as humans do have a destructive tendency but Christians living by the spirit and not the sinful nature seek the good of people and spreading the Gospel.

In the eternal sense, what we do matters. Nothing the world does matters though because its all going to come to ruin and their sins will count against them.

I think that those who try and pretend that they are holier than thou willl usually cause more harm than good! THis is why many people are turned off of church because they think that the people are hypocrites! But if you can figure out how to just be a normal person but remembering to honor your morals people will see a difference in you actions and that will make the biggetst impact!
after all actions speak louder than words!

Lots of people cause more harm than good. I don't really think religion has anything to do with it. People do what they have to do many times without thinking. Look at all the catholic priests that raped those kids. Very christian, very bad. Look at the terrorists, very muslim, very bad. It isn't the religion, it is always just the person.

It depends what you mean by harm. I think you can often turn people away from religion when you paint your pictures of Hell for the non believers. Who is going to subscribe to that magazine? Who wants any part of a God like that? You are good people spreading a good story badly.

Absolutely! Christians are all to often judgmental and backstabbing. They have this sinister belief that they are better than anyone that does not attend church. If Christians are so perfect then how is it that they have used religion as a scapegoat to murder, rape, enslave, and pillage in the past?
And don't use the word fanaticism. These people are still dead.

I would say most christians are good people but the thing about being "god's flock" is that your really asking for someone to come along and make you their own flock and leading you down some zealous path. Christians aren't as capable of independant thought so they think what the church tells them too*.

*Obviously if the church said "shoot yourself in the foot!" then you wouldn't. It is just more of a general mindset than a rule. If you didn't need outside guidance to live your life you wouldn't be christians

Lessee. There's the Crusades, the reign of Bloody Mary, the Inquisition, the slaughter of the various heresies, slaughter of the Jews, the sack of Constantanople, ..... I'm missing a lot, but, no. You Christians always do more good than harm.

Sheeze.

Only when we do not abide by ALL that Christ taught. I slip up sometimes, and when I do, I think of St. Peter who lobbed off the ear of a soldier to protect Jesus. It was the wrong thing to do, but Peter moved on after that - even penned a couple of epistles. Don't lose any sleep over it.

All humans makes misstakes.

What gets "chirstains" in trouble, is when they don't admit they done wrong. They say the bible says this and bible says that. I thought your bible was holy? I don't think a "holy" book would tell you to push the "prayer" in schools, would condume other people's religions, banish gay's and lesbians. What gets me is the "treat thy brother like thy self" and "chirstains" are yelling your going to go to hell if you don't believe "my God" or my "ways". Or that your religion is the only religion in the world.
I myself, I'm not perfect. But I don't say "your god is fake." That is your God, just like I have mine Gods.
Freedom of Religion is a wonderful thing! American's believe in Freedom of Religion and practiced it all the time. But GEEZE "Christan's" that means I can choice what religion I want in my life! If I choice not to use, pray or think of your God. Then so be it! "Turn the check."

Sorry all for the long post.

Of all life on the planet, only man has religion. Man is also the most destructive force on earth. Violence (the Crusades), and destroying our own environment/ habitat.
Also, Christians assume that all non-christians are going to hell unless they convert. Not Nice!
