I am 16 years old and going to be in 11th grade. My brother is now 23. I don't mean to sound whiny and sorry for myself this is just the way it is.
When I was 4 my parents got divorced. When I was 7 my dad, who did drugs and drank killed himself. My mom drank a lot too, but has been sober for almost 10 years and is so great. My brother started having problems when he was around 15, got into drugs and drinking and was put on many different medications. He was always angry. He eventually got better and stable until January when he slashed my mom and her boyfriend's tires. My mom and I had to immediately move out. He is now back on medication but is still depressed and his medicine isn't just right. Money is also pretty tight right now. But for as long as I can remember I have been depressed. I show all the signs, irregular sleeping and eating patterns, weight changes, irritable, lack of interest, low self-esteem, and most recently, always on the verge of tears. I guess my question is

Orson Pratt (LDS apostle) stated: "the great Messiah who was the founder of the Christian religion, was a polygamist...marrying many honorable wives himself…God the Father had a plurality of wives…the Son followed the example of his Father…both God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ inherit their wives in eternity as well as in time" (The Seer, p.172, 1853).

What do you think of this contribution by a muslim? The point is to show those that state not a single muslim has contributed anything are wrong.

"Distillation, the means of separating liquids through differences in their boiling points, was invented around the year 800 by Islam's foremost scientist, Jabir ibn Hayyan, who transformed alchemy into chemistry, inventing many of the basic processes and apparatus still in use today - liquefaction, crystallisation, distillation, purification, oxidisation, evaporation and filtration. As well as discovering sulphuric and nitric acid, he invented the alembic still, giving the world intense rosewater and other perfumes and alcoholic spirits (although drinking them is haram, or forbidden, in Islam). Ibn Hayyan emphasised systematic experimentation and was the founder of modern chemistry."

I'm sitting here watching Anchors Aweigh and Kelly and Sinatra are singing If You Knew Susie. Well those aren't the lyrics I learned, so I googled them. Turns out my lyrics are from 1926 and got a "spicy" rewrite for this musical.

But here's the thing. The lyrics are on a bunch of different sites with the same errors.

http://www.lyricsdownload.com/frank-sinatra-if-you-knew-susie-like-i-knew-susie-lyrics.html

Susie is a not a "lot of balusie." She's a "lollapaloozy." As in "lollapalooza."
Susie does not "want her Navy-ee." She "won her 'Navy-E'."
Also, you get "woozy," not "woosy," after a "date," not a "day" with Susie.

http://www.letrascanciones.com.mx/index.php?search=songid&id=25175

Only one site has the correct lyrics:
http://sfgk.free.fr/ifyouknewsusie.htm
It's got some typos, but reasonable ones considering the site's French.

So what's the deal?

So in ma skool n various othr skools near by hav been accepting "internet lingo" or "msn lingo" as acceptable forms of writing english.
I did peer tutoring for a english class and kids would writ like that in their essays and such. As a english major I saw to the teachers...Way to make students even more lazy!!.

"So wen i wuz marking these papers, i wuz like wtf! so i marked all dem up and told em to re-do it. But then the teach was like ya thats ok, it's fine. Omg! i wuz like wat! He said idc, it's done. oh n btw this was a 11th grade english class"

It's ridiculous. Kids already hate going to school now they are allowing them to use this. Do you think college or university will accept this-maybe by then they will. It's a disgrace. It's the lazy way.

The educational system is falling apart. Do you think this should be an acceptable form of english. I sure as H.E.L.L don't!

So it has always been on my mind. Why is it that the European, North American and some of the Far Eastern Nations are the most advanced Nations int the world. The Nations of Africa, Latin America, and South Eastern Nations are the poorest Nations in the world. Why is that?, and from your point of expertiese what could the poor countries do say Nigeria or Bhurma do to be with the big economic countries like the US, and all the other developed countries in the world?

We are told God is immortal. That he has always existed and always will. He is the beginning and the end. The alpha & omega.

100 billion humans have lived and died on this tiny blue dot we call home, so why do Christians believe God decided to bless us with his teachings and his son only 2,000 years ago? Before the “birth of Christianity”, was their no divine presence? What was God doing from between 200,000 years ago* and 2-3,000 years ago, when he gave us his divine teachings? For 198,000 years man was on the earth before God decided to dictate his divine teachings into bible form. Doesn't this seem a little odd?

Procreation certainly is a big reason for sex. That appears to be a biological fact. However, I would not say that it is the only reason for sexual intercourse. But it seems dangerous to completely detach procreation from sex. Just being reckless about why and with whom one has sex is possibly a bad idea. What do you think?

My husband and I went on vacation last year. We went to meet some of his relatives that he has never met. His mom was adopted and his biological Grandfather died at the age of 45. So we got to meet his grandfather's sister. Well the problem is that on the adoption papers said that he was 100% Italian. Well his great Aunt kept talking about being Indian. So finally I asked where does the Italian fit in. She looked at me puzzed and said "oh, there isn't any Italian."

His grandfather lied on the adoption papers and lied to the women he got pregnant and the sad thing is that we can't ask him why he lied.

My husband's mom's adoptive parents researched and brought his mom up Italian. They wanted her to at least know her own heritage. So she brought my husband up Italian! Now they find out they aren't. So my husband is going through this Identity crisis and he has been kind of depressed about the whole thing. He says, one day I woke up Italian and went to bed Indian
