If you can't afford to get it fixed, then how can you afford to buy another car? Just curious.
You can trade it in, but you are not going to get much money for it. You didn't say if it was driveable or not, and you didn't say what year and model the car was.
I don't know your situation, but it sounds like you would be better off having it repaired and getting a loan to do it, if you can't pay for the repair at once.

Have you no insurance cover for the car? or have you no licence to drive it? From the question you have asked it seems a bit strange that you do not know about insurance claims and seem to imply that you would like to sell the car on this forum. Try eBay they are better equipped to accommodate you.
