If the Sun and the Moon are responsible for the tides on the Earth, why don't I see tides on a glass of water left untouched on the kitchen counter for 24 hours? Shouldn't my glass of water show the effects of the gravitational pull of the Moon and the Sun, just like the oceans?

The Greeks often referred to Wisdom by the name Sophia. Were they referring to intuition? Is this wisdom restricted to women only? Why is wisdom personified as being feminine in nature. Are woman the personifications of intuitive wisdom?
In the song 'Stairway To Heaven' there's mention of a 'Lady who knows'... were they speaking of Intuition?
Is there really a 'Lady who knows' within us? Carl Jung spoke of the hidden female within the male. Was he speaking of this? Can men utilize woman's intuition? Are women supposed to teach men how to make use of this? How? Is there a counterpart to intuition? Is there a type of wisdom that is masculine in nature? If there is, can the two "become one flesh"? What happens then?
Would a man, trying to get in touch with this 'feminine side', have to identify with or see himself as a woman first, or could he use an actual woman as a mirror of sorts and find his intuitive side via her?
Women: do you find yourself being a mirror to men in this way?

Around here we call them "F Me Up in a Dixie Cup" (Of course we actually use the whole word not just "F".)

I know it's got pineapple juice in it. It's got a bunch of other stuff in it as well (which explains why it's $8 a glass). I just can't remember anything else.

A friend of mine and her husband and daughter came to house for dinner the other nite, before dinner my friend came to me and didn't want me to pray before dinner, she had confessed to me that she had not yet taught her 5 year old how to pray. I am 16 and i've been dating him for three years, i still care very much about him, i just don't want to date him. I cannot just dump him, i cant. the reason is because, when he cannot get ahold of me he'll call me 10 times then my mom10 times then my 10yr old sister 5 times then any one else he can think of. he recently got my phone taken away because he did not obey my mother's wishes, and she and my father do not approve of him any longer. He is very emotional, and cries alot and, says that he wants to marry me. He is very sweet, but he is causing too much stress in my life. I can't handle it. I was recently banned from speaking to him on the phone because he called my father's house at 1:30 in the morning! It's crazy. I need to end this, but i care about him. Just want to focus on school and my family. He won't understand.
