that the wifes/partners get up to all sorts with other men ,any 1 know if this is true & how much would it cost 4 my ticket & where do i start. my wife has been at me to go for it .

curiosity about what your wife is doing at home while you're away should not be the reasoning for you to go, nor to stay. yeah, the money is good, but there are dangers involved. as far as what your wife would be doing at home, that is for you and her to talk about. if my boyfriend were to work offshore, I would not be tramping around with different men. I would respect him enough to know he was away to support us. if you and your wife have a loving, fulfilling relationship, and you feel she would not cheat on you, then go for it. but it's your wife you should worry about, and not what everyone else's wives and girlfriends are doing. she is the only one that matters.

my friends hubby works on the rigs here off the coast of scotland, and the only thing she does behind his back when hes away is give the credit cards a hammering!!

Yes, it is good wages. However, that's because it's very hard work with very long hours AND can be very dangerous!
So please consider your alternatives. I would expect you already have a good wage, being an electrician.
