He does alot to help around the house and to help me. He is a very sweet and caring child. Very laid back and doesn't give me many issues. However he is turning 13 in September. I would like to do something very special for him for his birthday. A nice party, a nice dinner, something kinda on the inexpensive side but fun and memorable. I also would like it to be a more outdoor event than indoor. Thanks in advance for all of your answers. I appreciate it.

I have a 9 year old GE Profile Performance dishwasher that is now under recall. I have three options:
1) They will fix the problem (with insulation inside the door causing a fire hazard)
2) They will give me a $150 rebate on a new GE dishwasher
3) They will give me a $300 rebate on a new GE Profile dishwasher
The washer has already been repaired twice.
Can I assume I'm living on borrowed time with a 9 year old dishwasher and I should take the rebate or do you think there's plenty of life left in the old one?
The old one washes fine, but is missing the noise stopping insulation in the door (that was the first repair - they ripped it all out! The free repair would replace the insulation, but it would still be 9 years old.
Suggestions?

My ex has gotten married to a muslim man and have recently had a child together. I've heard rumors from HER family that my son who she has custody of has been staying with her mom ever since her new baby was born. Does the muslim religion not allow children born outside the marriage in the household? I'm very concerned about my son because I cannot find any information about this anywhere.

My sister-in-law is recently divorced and is staying with us until she moves into her new house supposedly (or so she claimed) for 1- 2 week max.... that was 6 weeks ago.
She does nothing to help, only comes in when dinner is put on the table, contributes nothing and raids the fridge each evening, to top it all she glued her broken nail together on our new leather couch and spilt superglue on it, never said a word until I confronted her and all she said is sorry 'bout that..
I told my husband I wanted her out, we had a huge row he didn't talk to me for 2 days and when he did accused me of lying, being underhand, 2 faced and trying to drive a wedge between him and his family. We have been married for 24 years, I take his mother every christmas (for 3 days) as none of him family will tollerate her, this has been for the last 16 years.
He brought up an argument I had with a 'friend' of mine last year when I caught her talking badly about me and he said I was lying.

Some people think our economy will be damaged when the U.S. population plateaus (because parents are finding large families too expensive).

But if you look at countries with serious overpopulation problems like Haiti and Rwanda, it's obvious that when the population exceeds the available resources, the economy crashes.

wants to talk at lunch today. He took my car while I was sleep and the other woman called him the next day to say what a good afternoon she had. I talked to her and she said she was told i was just his sister. I am thinking of giving him another chance to be straight with me. But he keeps denying seeing her. She described my car to the tee because i have special tags on the plate. He is very sneaky and I think he just wants me to be his main woman while he runs the street with others. I have stood by his side in the past year through a lot and I hate to throw it all away over him having dinner with another woman. He said he just wanted to get close enough to her to get on the inside of a better paying job & he has been doing things like this for quite sometime to get good jobs even though they are all temporary. He is an electrican. He wants me to pick him up for his 30minute lunch.What should I say? He is the kind that wants to see whats on my mind so he can have a good comback.

I have a 1988 CBR 1000 that is overheating. I want to check the coolant level but can't find the radiator cap or overflow reservoir.

This stuff is easy on a car - it's all in plain view. I'm sure I can find it if I take off all the panels and start digging around but I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me precisely where to look.
