My ex has gotten married to a muslim man and have recently had a child together. I've heard rumors from HER family that my son who she has custody of has been staying with her mom ever since her new baby was born. Does the muslim religion not allow children born outside the marriage in the household? I'm very concerned about my son because I cannot find any information about this anywhere.

Any woman who'd give up her child for a man is a f*cking idiot. Sorry, I just feel very strongly about any woman who would give up her flesh n blood to get some guy.

No I have a friend who married a muslim man and she had a child before him by an American man, and her new muslim husband takes the best care of that child welcomed both of them with open arms. They also have two together now and all three children are treated the same. He is an outstanding step-father. And he is very very much into his muslim faith. It must be just about the individual your speaking about.

I am not sure of the customs but I would try to get custody of that poor child. If this is a custom and she's allowing it then she is a HORRIBLE mother...if it's just a temporary arrangement while things get settled with baby it might be okay....but in that case I dont understand why he's not with you instead. Get Custody. Call your lawyer today.

Dont know anything about this but I would start doing some investiage. See if there is a muslim community near you and call them. Do research on the web. Find out. It could just be she is recuparate from having the baby or it could your son wants to stay w/his grandma. I would call and find out dont let this go. Good luck.
I did some research and was able to get an email i believe to someone they might be able to answear your question. mufti@ciinetwork.net Good Luck

That's not true at all. Islamically your son is allowed to live with them. The issue is just if the new born was a girl. When she grows up it becomes an issue because they are not related.

You need to get custody of your son. If he is living with his grandma don't you think he is thinking NO ONE WANTS ME? come on think of the child. What a sad thing for your son.

Get a lawyers advice. This child is in jeopardy if he doesn't have a mother or father to love him. If all of this is true, get custody now!
