Took my new dachshund (5 yr old male) that we just adopted like 3 weeks ago to the vet on Saturday for a check up and to look at his skin b/c he kinda had some patches on his side. Vet thinks it may be ring worm and took a culture but I have to wait 3 weeks to find out and it seems it is getting worse now. He licked himself last night and it got all red like he licked it raw. It never looked like that before and I feel bad and want to be able to help him out alittle. Any suggestions?

s the employer typically toss out the application? Its more important that t I actually get the job than getting the higher wage. On the other hand, I would hate to miss out on a higher wage if it were possible. On the "wage expected" portion of the app I'm thing on writing $10 but I wouldnt be suprised if they wanted to pay this position $7 an hour. Its a cook job at a retirement home. I have 5+ combined working years of experience in all positions in a restaurant

I have been diagnoised with post tramatic stress disorder with anxiety and depression. I asked my internist doc to get a referal to a phychiatrist and he told me that becuase I have low income insurance they wont take me cause Im not psychotic. What does he mean?

I went in and got my body fat measured and I am in the Healthy range. Yet my BMI puts me at level 1 obese. If I were to weight the highest for a healthy BMI, an online calculator says that I would be dramatically underweight. Ummm, this makes no sense to me.

Why do some people find it so offensive to call black people black. isn't that a bit hypocritical then to call white people white? If you are from a black race then what is the big deal or is it that the real issue is that people are so caught in what happened in the past that they are just plain bitter and resentful.

The past is the past so why don't we just allow sleeping dogs to stay asleep! And get on with the now. Why should some people be forced to walk on egg shells for the rest of their lives. Sure enough that there are consequences for our actions but how long must we go on paying.

I don't see the big deal in a white person telling a black joke or visa verso. I think some people need to have a sense of humor or just buy some. ( but those are just my thoughts what's yours?)

Somebody please explain this to me. What is the differnce in saying you are a black person verses a coloured, african american etc.
