Iranian people - especially men are inconsiderate and rude. My husband is American and still when we are at family gatherings they speak Persian at the dinner table and he just sits there all silent.
It just shows disrespect towards you and you shouldn't have to put up with that. Have you expressed to him how you feel?
Another thing abotu Iranians is they show more repsect towards friends and strangers than they do their own family or gf or wife.
Why do you think I didn't marry Iran, because a 100 things like what you experienced.

Chances are they are.Those guys are very peculiar with different ideas about everything.Is not only the religion,but the whole mental state about that country.
