Why does almost everyone think that when a married woman joins the Air force (or any military branch) that there is a certain definite there will be a divorce. I am joining the Air Force in January and I am happily married, but I keep hearing people say it wont last. Why do people say that? I don't get it.....

Specifically, I am looking for answers that touch on the scenario where you have one country under the thumb of a powerful and ruthless dictator who really represents 35% of the people from a sectarian point of view with the rest of the country being really other ethnic or religious groups who are not conducive to working well together and are perhaps chomping at the bit to get at each other and settle centuries old grudges that the dictator had kept in check.

Take into consideration as well that neigboring countries who had been long time enemies of the invaded country would look to move in and take advantage of the power vaccum created unpon the deposition of the evil dictator to exert their influence on that countries affairs.
Finally, consider also that the invading country has enemis that might want to flock to the occupied country to make mischief and make try to disrupt the invaders' plans.

These top Democrats are always saying that they know what the American people are thinking or wanting. Im a Democrat, and an American, and they dont speak for me...on anything. If they spoke for me, they would actually try to do something besides investigate and call names. Of the six things the Democrats promised and ran on last election, they have only accomplished one.

I just find it funny how our country, America, is run by the rich/wealthy and how most of the tax laws favor the poor or the rich. If you are rich and pay all of your federal income tax (the total amount; cap. Forgot what the personal cap is, sorry), you no longer are required to pay Federal Income Tax. If you are poor, there are loopholes where you can pay less tax. Also, if you are poor, you also receive help from the government and other special fundings! However, if you are in the Middle Class, the tax laws require you to pay very high Federal Income Tax and there are absolutely no loopholes, in which one can reduce the amount paid back to the government. Plus, the government is always concerned with the welfare of the poor and the rich, but never seems to care about the Middle Class. As of right now, the Middle Class is already in the process of being slowly eliminated once again, by tax laws and other laws and regulations.

I went to the store to get a cricket racket because there are thousands of them outside my house making noise at night. The guy told me to just swing the racket before night and they won't show up. I have tried this for a week now and I see no difference in the amount of crickets in my area. HELP PLEASE!!!

this has been going on and off. Sometimes it will switch from theater wide 1 to theater wide 2. most commonly from wide to full though. I unplugged cables and put them into different source and the reception was worse, plugged them back into original HDMV source and it stopped for a day or so, but has started back. I dont know if it is the tv or the cable company/box.

i have wierd conditions with my left shoulder and it gets dislocated at times. because of that i cant do regular pushups because my shoulder cant withstand the weight. it hurts alot and i end up only working out my right side.

im doing wall pushups instead, but i want to know what else that i can do instead of regular pushups.. and do wall pushups build muscle as well?

I am a 25 year old married woman and I met this girl in my friend's place some time back.I liked her and I immediately connected with her and I knew that she also liked me.We met for 10 days consecutively as we were organising something together.
Initially ,she was also friendly towards me.then from the third day onwards,she started ignoring me.I didn't mind that as I barely knew her.
Then,from the fifth day,she started imitating my dressing style,hair style, and being very affectionate to me.she used to sit very close to me(not even 1 inch apart),would caress me every now and then and would come into my personal space on the plea of whispering something to me.As I am not a very touchy feely or expressive person,this kind of behavior from a same sex person started freaking me out.This lack of reciprocation resulted in resentment in her behavior.Still,she was signalling that she likes me and expressed the desire that we should hang out sometime.I liked her a lot.
but is it only liking on her part or something else?
