I am super interested in Georgia Tech under robotic or computer engineering, so i was wondering if anyone had any tips and info that would help me accomplish my goal of being accepted into Georgia Tech. Any info and tips would be helpful including certain standards i should meet and go above to give me an upper hand when selctions come. Thanks so much in advance!

I know that if you are taking the pill that you have to use an alternative method as the antibiotics reduce the absorbtion of the pill. But the injection is straight into a muscle and is once every 10 weeks. So is it affected?

My kitten (3-4 months) has been missing for about 5 hours now. We only let him out when we are watching him or when our other cat is with him. Whenever we call him he comes, and he didn't come tonight. We've looked everywhere for him (all over the house, backyard). I just don't know what else to do. It's 2 am right now and I just can't sleep. Any Advice?

"The Never Ending story is an 80's movie about a kid who borrows this book and it ends up turning into some sort of reality. The kid (Bastion) is asked to give the young Empress of Fantasia a new name to save her life. Bastion yells the name out of a window in the school attic during a thunderstorm. This guy is my best friend. That's what we are, officially. We used to go out, we actually started off dating, but then we went to college and decided that the relationship wasn't going anywhere, because we hadn't spent a whole lot of time together (end of senior year, he lives on the other side of LA (which is huge with traffic, takes more than two hours to get from his house to mine with traffic). So we're best friends, talk at least once a week on the phone (he often calls me), exchange the occasional "I love you."
We get home for the summer, and I hang out with him a lot because he's in my group of friends. But whenever we hang out, he's always sitting next to me, has his arm around me, pays me more attention than anyone else in the room, plays with my hair, et cetera. I like the attention, but I'm not sure what he means by it. Anyone have any ideas?

I seen your answer to someones question about fleas, and I was interested in your response about lavender and teatree oil. I was just wondering if you mixed it with shampoo or what? I have some teatree oil, but it's obviously very oily and strong smelling. Could you tell me how your administer it to your animals? Also, anyone else's suggestions on flea meds/remedies would be helpful :)

When we take the verses in the bible concerning, "the four corners of the world", "the foundation of earth", "the moon giving off her own light", "Jesus seeing all kingdoms of the earth", "earth being a stationary object" and etc., into consideration, it raises a striking similarity among them. Back in the past when science wasn't as advanced, these verses would indeed make sense and sound noncontradictory. If any ordinary person living in the past wrote a story of earth, it would make perfect sense if they described earth as flat and sationary; the moon indeed appears to send off its own light. Isn't it such a coincidence that the earth is described in the bible in such a way that the earth appears to be to the naked eye? If the bible is the truth, don't you think it should've described the earth and universe as we now know it is?
---This simply implies that the bible was made up by man according to how they saw earth with their naked eyes; that would indeed explain it all.

what's a good sealant / glue to apply in the part or corner where the wooden wall meets the wooden ceiling? Our guest room has this leak whenever the rains are strong and it isn't even on the top floor... Anyway, aside from having the ceiling dismantled, I've decided to just apply a sealant on the areas where I see the entry of water. Since I've already identified the water's path through the gaps, could anyone recommend a good sealant that is water tolerant and doesn't corrode/break easily? I plan to seal those gaps save for one spot. Basically, it's to reroute the leaks to just one spot so that it becomes easier to handle.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated (not involving me to dismantle / take apart anything).

When the Viet Cong used the forests and jjungle as a cover for their fighting to pin down American troops, they responded with a scorched earth policy that destroyed the forests.

Shouldn't this have deprived the Viet Cong and defeated them eventually, seen as though the only thing that made their guerilla tactics so effective was gone.

Then how were they able not just to survive another couple of years, but to eventually "defeat" in a sense, and drive out the US troops?
