If you hold on too tightly wouldn't the fly free in the end?

If he has a desire to be somewhere else, I certainly wouldn't hold him back. But once he sees that the grass is not so much greener on the other side, I'm not too sure I'd let him back over the fence.

well ... ideally, we'd hold on to each other tightly and fly free together ... unfortunately, reality is a bit different

It depends.If she loves me as well I'd hold on tightly but if she's happier with another person I'd let her go.
