My ex husband and I had been seperated since 1997. We married in 1992 and were very young ( first love ). It had been a rather abusive relationship and I never filed for divorce simply because I did not want him to find out where I was. I was afraid that he would find me. I just found out today that he passed away last week after an illness. As we were never divorced, am I his widow? He had a new "wife" ( common law) partner and I would never disrespect her and her grieving. I am simply wondering for when I need to file income tax reports or other legal forms.
Anyone have any idea ? ( I live in Canada and would fall under Canadian law)

Ok this question is may be hard to answer. Do you know of the game Audition? It's a computer dance game. Well if you do you, you can save the replay of a dance you did and it goes into a folder onto your computer. Well the video file to it is .arp and I want to watch this video and/or play it on Windows Media player(since I have windows media player). But it said that Windows Media player could not play the video file because it is invalid. So how can I play the video without the file being .arp? Can I change the file somehow? If so, how?! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I hate myself sometimes. There is this guy I like, and he just told me he likes me and everything. And I confessed too. But I told him that I wanted to wait and see if feelings will change or anything. But i'm still living in that stupid fairytale I built up where he confesses his love with so much beauty. All he said was that I nice,beatifull,funny and he loved to be with me and such. But....I don't know i'm still in that part where i've always dreamed of a guy takeing my breathe away as he said his feelings and such. I can't tell if he's holding back or not. But am I wrong for wanting fantasy to become a reality? Am I just a stupid girl for thinking like this. It's just that I don't wan to be in relationship when I feel like it's not going to be real because I don't want to hurt him. And he deserves better than me anyways.

My mom used to be married but she recently got divorced. while she was married i had a guy cousin(aka "jose") . we were never blood related or anything...well me and him were close, we were together a couple of times."jose" has a cousin(aka "jon") that has been in love with me pretty much ever since i met him at school. in my dream me and "jose" killed "jon" by drowning him in a lake out where we were all camping at. the family found out about it later and asked us but both me and "jose" looked at each other and said we knew nothing of what had happend...later on i went back out to the lake and it was very creepy. i saw "jons" body floating lifelessly in the weeds close to the dock. in the dream i just kept staring and i even touched him. i left the lake and went back to camp with "jon" and the both of us always acted like it never happend. this dream was really wierd and ive had it before involving different peopl. i just need to kno wat this all means in my life..PLEASE HELP ME

I just got back from Washington DC, the capital of the United States of America, which in my opinion should be the safest and most secure place on the planet. I did not feel that way...to be more exact I felt the least safe and secure I had ever felt in my entire life. If you've never been there it will absolutley blow your mind how dangerous it is, the things that get reported on the local news there at night are down right scary, ever more scary that for some reason the national media does not cover it...

Basically Washington DC is not safe to walk around by yourself during the day, but ESPECIALLY at night, even on the same street with all the federal buildings and monuments people are getting mugged and killed...

I am so disappointed in Washington DC.

Would it be legal for basically kick out all the civilians and treat it as a Military Facility in order to return control of DC back to the Fed Govt and not have the streets run by crime?

my parents and my aunt used to run a restaurant store together(both own the store),but then my parnets decided they don't want the store any more. my aunt wanted to keep the store and they wanted to buy the whole store and my aunt was supposed to pay them half of the store money that my parents pay for the store.. now it's been two years and they never pay back the money and i wondering if there is any law i can use aganst them. is there any law, paper i can get or anything i can do to get them to pay up for the restaurant that they never paid for the last two years.

p.s i am not close with my aunt at all.

Last winter I saw a really bright star and called the folks over at the college to see if it was something I should worry about. They told me it was probably serious, so I went down to the Piggly Wiggly and stocked up on all the canned food they had. Shows you what college folks know. im 5'7'' and weigh 120-ish. i recently lost 35 pounds, and have about 10 more i am working on, but i havent had my period since october 2006, and its july 2007.
im not underweight, so what could be the problem?
does my body still need time to adjust?
