If I couldn't identify the voice, I'd probably do something unoriginal like ask who it is. If the dark place was my own house or basement and I knew that it was someone (or something) who wasn't supposed to be there, I'd take a swing in the direction of the voice. I refuse to be intimidated by bad poetry.

I think I would say who the hell got into my house and turn on the lights. If no one was there I would be like huh, weird and take it as an over active mind, but remember what was said you know just in case. I would also be insanely wary for about 3 months and if it didn't happen again I would be like huh that was some weird crap.

Id think my girlfriends role playing games were getting a little too kinky.
Perhaps its the equivalent of a guy thinking about sport stats to prevent premature ejaculation.

I don't know what I WOULD do but I know I would NOT scream. I kinda like my tongue attached like it currently is.

well it depends. if it is one of my family members trying to scare me i would tell them they are stupid but if it was an unfamiliar voice and i knew we had no company over id so start screaming like crazy.

I would laugh. If it was dark and I couldn't see anything, then why should I worry about "if you see her"
