Oh, I love questions like this!

Now, when I go back in time, could I share information of the present with this person in the hopes of altering history? That is, of course absolutely taboo. Or must I just visit and have general conversation with them?

I think I would like to be back to speak to Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt. Why? Because I have always wondered about her life and times. I studied her when I was a kid and have always felt her to be a fascinating woman.

Or perhaps equally thrilling would be to meet Penthesilia, the last of the warrior women, queen of the Amazons of the Syrian area of the world. Penthesilia was slain by Achilles who desecrated her body during the siege of Troy.

I plan on spending half of my time in the after life, going around talking to all the people in history that impressed me. BUT, if I could go back in time and meet them hear on earth, its a toss up between the three stooges and Elvis. Just to let them know how great an impact they made on the world!

I'd go back in time to meet a few of my friend's worse nightmares and introduce them to some compelling reasons (both of them) to curb their ugly ways.. why? ... Yet another poorly considered rash decision by gazpacho ....

Now has anyone seen my Tardis?

I would travel back to August 24th,1900... and meet Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche,...on his deathbed,... on the day before he is to die.

I would discuss nothing with him for, at this point, Nietzsche had been catatonic for over a decade, and was gravely ill with pneumonia...
I would only like to take his hand, - and lean over and whisper into his ear:
..."Ich danke Ihnen"...
...["I thank you"]...

I would then just sit by him, drinking a few beers while I read ECCE HOMO,... and wait for merciful Death to come and claim one of the greatest human beings that there has ever been, --- or ever will be...

That would have to be my Grandmother (on my Mom's side). She and I share the same birthday, but she died before I was born. I think she would have been the stereotypical Grandmother, the spoil you rotten, bake you cookies Grandmother.

I would like to have known my Mom before years of living with my father had taken its toll on her emotionally and physically. Thankfully he left her and she had two really good years before she was taken from us.
