people with different opinion, whether God exists or not, seem to find it so hard to admit that they don't really know some things. they just keep on imposing their opinions on others.

just say you don't know if you really don't know, there's no point in pretending you are all-knowing, because no human is all-knowing.

I am an engineer, and have been fairly successful in my career.. However, I'm not really that excited about engineering and haven't been for some time. Does anyone know what else I could do with my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering besides engineering? It's hard to let go because it pays so much better than anything else I could do, but it's also slowly destroying my soul. Thanks.

Ok..well i'am 19 years old and i'am a guy. My dad is making me do this CNA course. This nursing assistant. today was my first day of traning and after today..i serously dont' want to do this job. It's too disturbing for me. If i can't do this in the traning , how will i manage to do this in the real job. Well i tried telling my dad that and he wants me to do it..so i have no choice..i'am seriously fedup with this. I want my own job, my own desriable thing. It's just not for me..I dont' know what i should do? shoudl i just move out and go on my own..just give me any advice you have becasue i seroiusly don't like this cna job thing.

There is so much to this.
Every time we learn something from our environment, our brain rewires according to it, thus affecting any decision we make afterward.
(So there's no freewill?)
But we don't rely solely on what the environment allows us to learn, then evolve on - we also have a desire for novel stimulation, like curiousity, or creativity, which CANNOT be taught with classical conditioning.
(So there is freewill?)
I believe I have freewill, and so I do?? Is that it?

See,I recently purchased this hard drive and I transferred some of my photos to it already. My only problem is sometimes, when I click the off/on button, it takes a while to recognize whether it be I am turning it off or on. I will click the button and it would require me maybe another click for it to turn off.

Is there anyone else out there, who owns a Lacie 500 GB external hard drive, that happens to have the same problem? And if so, what did you do about it. I don't want that I will have to replace it, or have it repaired by the manufacturer, because I already transferred so many pictures on it. It cost me a lot of money also, because of the country I am in right now.

If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Before you yell at me, I'm taking a neutral position. I just want your opinion on the matter. Should laws put people in prison for animal cruelty? Consider the cases where other people's dogs attack a stranger, possibly a fatal attack, and they serve time for their dogs actions. Give me some feedback on what you think.

Recently my Uncle sent out invitations to a surprise 65th birthday party he is organizing for my Aunt. The invitation included the menu from the restaurant where the party is being held and requested that the guests send 20 pounds each with their RSVP to cover the cost of their meal. We live in Canada and thought this was the tackiest thing we'd ever heard of - our feeling was that if you're going to invite people to a party that you should pay for everything......We wondered if this is something that is considered normal and socially acceptable in the UK or if it's really as tacky as we think it is and if my Aunt is going to be totally humiliated when she finds out what he has done. Could you Brits tell me your opinion on this one?

Way back when, I had a SWEET 1979 Dodge Omni 024. Every time I shut the engine off, it would run on. When I switched to Premium fuel, the run-on went away. So, I figured the premium must be doing something good for my car, and have only used it ever since (Except when I had a Diesel Rabbit, but that is another question!)
I figure it is a couple more bucks per tank, but worth the peace of mind for me. Anyone else use Premium when they don't have to, or am I just trying to relive fond memories of the 024?

This was a around a month ago he moved out but they have had a relationship for a few months now. I cheated on him earlier on in our marriage (12 years ago) and he forgave me and basically wanted to try again, even though I filed for divorce then. So I stopped the paperwork. I asked him today if he was happy. I really just want him to be happy. Just as I want to be happy. He said he doesn't know if he will ever be happy. (He is around midlife crisis age and had a near death experience earlier this summer.)
I have been working out more, eating better and such. My body is getting into shape and I have lost 10 of the 15-20 pounds I needed to lose. I caught him checking me out a few times recently.
We had an interesting conversation today where he expressed concern for me and how I am handling things.
Now, he wants to have sex with me. He talked about getting "excited" while we were talking. Talked about how we weren't divorced yet. Could he stop by this week and *ahem* with me.

My husband and i have been happily married 16 yrs and about 5 months ago he said he wanted to start giving me oral which he has never done before but it never bothered me since he satisfies me when we make love although thru the yrs i have often wondered what it was like.Well been 5 months since he told me this but he hasnt done it yet and for a few months after and after making love i would ask him why he didnt do it and he would either say "i will" or "next time" or "im going to"..When he first brought the subject up he said he had been thinking about it and waiting to do it for awhile but didnt know how i would feel about plus he said he thought i would be something i would like..Although i never ask for it i am a little disappointed and i feel let down that he hasnt done it..Over the weekend after about a month or so of not mentioning it to him i ask him when he was gonna do it and he said "i will" but that night we made love and of course he didnt do it..

Hello. I am a 22 year-old woman who has never been pregnant. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. She had a localized, non-metastasizing, non-recurring tumor and was 35 at diagnosis.

I am currently started my period. Normally my breasts do get slightly swollen and tender for the week before my period starts; however, my breasts are larger than they normally get and have a deep ache. My nipples aren't really erect like they would be and sometimes feel a small film of stickiness. And today, I just noticed a small, small red spot next to my nipple. There's no "orange" characteristics to either breast.

What should I do? I don't have insurance since I'm no longer in school and therefore no longer a ward of my parents and covered under them. I just started a new job, so I'm not eligible for coverage. Should I just move to Canada? (sorry, lame attempt at humor)

What should I look out for? How long should I wait to see someone? And how in the world would I see someone without insurance?
