He is staying off TV because of the negative media coverage. From what I have heard from various media sources, he is stressing out about Raw's low ratings since Benoit's death and has taken it out on the Raw writers. A major shakeup in creative may be in the works in the fall and don't be surprised if talent is released or distributed to other shows.

Even his large ego realizes he better avoid all cameras for a very long time. If the Feds come kocking on the door, Vinnie isn't going to have Superstar Billy Graham giving disjointed testimony to avoid conviction, like what happened in the steroid trial in the 1990s.
