I cry when I see elderly people struggling or suffering. They remind me of the suffering my grandmother had to go through when she was ill. I cannot visit hospitals now - the mental stress is really strong for me.

I had to stop watching TV for a while. It is depressing. I see way too much and I wonder how we can possibly go on hurting each other the way we do. It is sad that some people have to endure such suffering, or that small children are the innocent victims, or that earthquakes devastate communities. I am not saying that I don't want to know what is going on in my world, I just want to stop feeling the hurt for a while.

Yeah, I do. I can't stand to see other people suffer, either emotionally or physically. I guess I just have a soft heart, and it always gets to me. I think the worst with me is children, though. I have a hard time watching movies or news stories that involve the sufferring of children. They are so helpless. It breaks my heart to see children being victim to things that they do not even understand.

I stopped watching the news for this reason alone. I do cry when I see that there is nothing I can do for someone that is so easy to be helped. I am also very inraged at the fact that some people that have what it takes to help the suffering don't do more than what we think is help.

Yes I do. I have such empathy for others. And for some I know what they are going through.

I used to feel bad... but that is old news to me now...
there is never anything happy on the news... like someone giving someone a house or a car, or someone finding money and turning it in for a reward or anything...

it is all always about the war, and poverty in other countries.. and i get sick of it... i have tolerance for it now...

I cant do anything about it... and apparently neither can the government...
so why would i care...
i know i sound self centered and bigoted... but that is how i feel about it...

yep. ALWAYS! i cried my eyes out at the new movie premonition with sandra bullock!(and countless others!sweet november, titanic, pearl harbor, the green mile...) and i just cried over the news too! a little girl got attacked by a pit bull and it almost killed her. The news showed her grandparents crying and it was just so pitiful. The shows on animal abuse makes me cry too. and forget it if i see somebody else crying

I cry all the time, over commercials, etc. Way to emotional. I have cried in restaurants 'cause I have seen strangers crying at a table near by...I should be medicated!

Yes, I'm emotional at stuff like that because my heart just sinks and feels pain. I agree with you, the news does have sad stories. I also cry so much when I hear about abused/neglected animals, because I love animals just so much. :( xoxoxo
