When I rescued (it) all his/her fins were gone. I think I see an ovipositor but I'm not sure. The betta is in a ten gallon tank and I am having trouble seeing under it. Is there another way to tell if it's male or female? Maybe a more trained eye can see something I don't. Here are pics of when I first got him all beat up and some just a minute ago. Maybe you'll be able to tell. He's kinda bright to be a female - but I really think I see an ovipositor - so am I just gonna have to wait till the fins grow out and see what happens? Thanks in advance.

I have been living in the same state as my godson for the past 5 1/2 years. I get him almost ever other weekend. I love him very much and this was not an easy decision to come to. The state that I live in now is hours away from all of my family. I had my father up here for a couple of months but he passed away in February. This happening has made me want to be closer to my family members.
I got a new job out of state where I will be in the same city as many of my relatives.
I sat down and explained this situation to him and he seemed ok with it. I told him that I will be back to see him and he can even get on a airplane to see me. He's 6 years old. When I let his mom know, she started tell him that I was leaving him to be with my other god son (who happens to live in the state i'm moving to). She asked me how could I even consider leaving him to move someplace else. Now I am afraid that she is going to poision his mind against me. What can I do? Why is she

Revelation 1:8 gives the plan for the features in Exodus. 45% of the words in Exodus 34:6b-7 deal with judgement and punishment.

To make a long story short a SIL (Married to Fiance's Brother) WAS going to be in the wedding and alot of bad things happened between me (my fiance) & her. He doesn't want her in there (neither do I). We haven't spoken one word about the Wedding around her in months. We're getting married 5-3-08 and I was thinking of mailing her a check (for the dress deposit amt) to her with the save the date. I think that would say--you're not in it. What do you think. Keep in mind she's a rude b&%#$ that to me deserves very little consideration.

The people who owned the house before I did cut the hole for the A/C vent cover too big. It should be 10 x 4, but it's 10.75 x 4.5. As a result, I can't screw the vent cover to the floor to hold it down. I'm looking for suggestions on how to fix this. I was thinking I could superglue a piece of wood on the inside of the hole, making the hole smaller, but not sure if it would hold tight enough to do the trick.

Ideas? Thanks!

I have a light fixture that I am replacing in my dining room. I do not have a problem with the wiring because it is a brand new house...However, the mounting plate of the new fixture does not match up with the electrical box in the ceiling. What can I do to get this fixture installed. I would much prefer to get an adaptor of some sort rather than having to replace the electrical box in the ceiling...I am not an electrician and would prefer not to have to hire one...
