Jesus is the son of God -- much of the marketing was
done by angels long before the disciples came into being.
John the Baptist threw in a few good words too.

No I don't think so. marketing usually gains money and power. The church after A.D. 300 may have had both of those, but the disciples and early christians in the first and second century who were killed for their beliefs did not gain either. (there are secular accounts that first century christians believed him to be the son of God and were being killed for it) my question to you is why do you believe Jesus was a very holy man and prophet? Since most of our info comes from the Bible, do you just pick and choose the parts that are most convenient for you to believe? Why was he killed again by the way? Surely you believe he was killed, because you believe he existed, and the easiest way to destroy the christian belief would have been to present his body, or say he didn't die. Why didn't anyone deny anything that these dillusional christians were saying. Not one person denied their miracle claims. Not one person said they were lying when it was claimed that Jesus claimed to be divine in front of the pharisees. Now since early first century christians were being killed because they believed he was the son of God, and they were claiming that He infact said these things, why wouldn't there be one measly account of someone denying something about Jesus, but no one denied anything about him, and no one did for centuries. Are you just kind of defining truth by what tastes good to you?

Jesus is God, he fulfilled many prophecies of Old of the coming savior and also claimed that he was God even in his own life. Jesus is God and Savior. This was great marketing of the early church because they knew if was true , they saw it with their own eyes.

I don't believe that anyone would allow themselves to be martyred for a marketing concept. He is the Son and the God of the Trinity.

The early church spread the fastest while it was intensely persecuted. People were losing their jobs and being kicked out of their families. It was quite the opposite of a marketing campaign. Your lack of insight is tragic.

To me, just my opinion, good marketing never includes persecution to death, which almost every single Apostle had suffered.
Really, your argument is rather boring.
