In answer to first question, I have some idea about globalization, but not a global one, only from my individualistic perception.

In answer to 2nd question: Do I like it?

If it deals with the narrow concept of economics, where developing nations would be at the mercy of super-economies, thus displacing the livelihood of poor people, then I don't like it at all.

But if it is on a wider concept, on civilizations moving towards the time when as one philosopher says, "from each according to his want to each according to his needs", then it is a good thing and I am all for it. When the time comes when overly restrictive societies would accept reform because the people in their land could not help but see through internet and other media advantages of an open society, it is a good thing. When ideas are made pure by passing through the fire, so to speak, by the very fine minds such as are in this furum, it is a good thing.

Globalization means intergrating the national economy with the world economy... Globalization describes an ongoing process by which regional economies, societies, and cultures have become integrated through a globe-spanning network of communication and trade..... The term is sometimes used to refer specifically to economic globalization: the integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, foreign direct investment, capital flows, migration, and the spread of technology........ However, globalization is usually recognized as being driven by a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural, political, and biological factors..........The term can also refer to the transnational circulation of ideas, languages, or popular culture through acculturation

Globalization -
the act of making everything 'global'; unity with everything; everything becomes the same; just like how ants get their orders from the queen.

Independence is freedom, and most people love freedom.

I don't completely understand it but I know it's caused a cycle of poverty in third world nations, and has caused American jobs to be outsourced.
