An original used iBook, say orange like Reese Witherspoon used in Legally Blonde, goes for $100 to $150 on ebay depending on the software and whether or not it has been upgraded with more RAM etc.

It always varies online when it comes to something like prices , i checked apple.com it's conceiled somewhere in the site....

Apple Original I book range starts from $2999 but if u r a novice | intermediate user i wouldn't recommend u to apple
as it is amcintosh OS and there are very few softwares for MAcintosh
as well the user interface would have a plenty change and would not be really ideal for a new user.
Guess at half rates u can go in for
Dell,Acer,Toshiba,SOny,Compaq or Hp or ...
not really half rate but starts from half rate
just it is the name sake
Apple Books are otherwise Dell or Compaq midrange laptops are good
