For example, the world has been shown to be much more than 10,000 years old, there is plenty of evidence that evolution exists, and many Old Testament stories bear strong resemblance to stories in other religions. Yet many Christians claim that fossil records are inaccurate without providing any scientific evidence to support their claims. They use no proof other than spoken word and wonder why creationism is not taught in most schools. Relying only on spoken word and scripture to discredit science makes those Christians look like they have their heads in the sand. I understand why Christians don't want to let go of their beliefs when challenged by science, but why do so many Christians stubbornly refuse to allow their beliefs to evolve alongside knowledge (like the great Saint Thomas Aquinas suggested)?

my baby boy is just about to turn 9 months old.

the thing is, during a bath, he noticed his privates, and proceded by pinching and pulling until i took him out of the bath in fear of him harming himself. his area was bright red and it looked very sore!

he has started doing this every bath time, and he hardly understands what no means, so i cant correct him not to do it. hes also definatly too young for me to explain to him things.

should i just let him figure it out for himself and let him hurt himself? or should i prevent him from doing so until i can explain things further?

any imput would be greatly appreciated!

My 1999 dodge ram 2500 stalled on me 5 weeks ago and no one can seem to find the problem. I had to have it towed to a garage and they think it might be the fuel injector pump. The 'check engine' bulb is on and the truck just won't star anymore. HELP!!!!

By 1918, Walker's plans had come to nothing. His own estate on mount Falcon burned to the ground that year, in a mysterious fire. He had lost most of his fortune and could no longer proceed with the summer White House constrcution. Walker dies penniless in 1931. Few remembered his grand ambitions. Except for some of the children who had given their pennies for Walker's plans. Now grown to adulthood, they still kept the old postcards. Showing the glorious building that had been propsed for Mount Falcon. And once in a while, remembered how much fun it had been to share the eccentric tycoon's wild dream.

i know justin timberlake does. im trying to think of who else. and also how important is it that an artist actually plays instruments to be really respected. if someone is a great dancer like say janet jackson or ciara but not a great vocalist, do they lose any credibility or does the dancing make up for it.
