I'm a musician (piano and guitar) and usually when I'm writing a song I just mess around and play different chords. Once I've got the melody down I just write lyrics that complement the chord progression I've made.

I also like to write short stories when I'm bored.

When you're going through an intensely emotional stage in your life, how do YOU transfer this anger/depression to a creative work? I can't seem to make a song that truly expresses my emotion because I'm too angry or depressed to actually work on a good chord progression.

I'm just asking your personal methods.

My mind is always calm..

but I seem to suffer from some terrible adrenaline.. inducing... butterfly in the stomach syndrome.

Its numbing.
I can feel it in my stomach.
Feels like an adrenaline rush but instead of making me energetic it almost like.. stops me in my tracks.

How do I get rid of it?

I work at Hooters right now because there is not much where i live and that is the first place i got a job, because i need money for figure skating, my mom doesn't care, but i am worried about college. I am 18 and I will be graduating soon. I am a valedictorian and have many scholarships. I have never been in trouble with the law or school. I am just worried what they will think. i have teacher comments and everything, but is that enough. Even if they do accept me, will they look at me funny or judge?? your opinon. I want to major in law and minor in interior design and fashion design. What do you think???

Many people search for the meaning of life, happiness, and faith. Many people just search to be apart of something. Life is full of searching. Me i have searched and searched to find something to be apart of. After a long and tiresome search i found my awnser. A man came and spoke to me in a dream last week. He told me i was to become a great and powerful leader. I didnt believe him at first, i thought why me im just another average joe. But on my way to work i stopped at a gas station to fill up and standing at the pump across from me was that man. He spoke to me again telling me i should stop looking and start making it happen he told me i was given a gift of awnsers. I have thought all week about what he said and i believe it donned on me i was to become the leader of all these lost people who are searching. I'm interested in making my own beads, but I can't seem to get them all the same size. Does anyone know of a tool or mold that can help me size and shape them?

My friend is getting a Administrative Discharge from the Navy. My questions are how is this considered compared to Dishonorable and honorable discharges? Also how long will it take for the paperwork to go threw? They told her 2-6 weeks but I doubt that they will leave her sitting in her A-School barracks for a month and a half. Also I heard from some other people that she could still get her G.I. money for school, what is the story on that. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hey, im a junior in High School and I wanna pursue something in the medical field...BUT...i don't no what
Im honestly scared to death about the longggggg time spent in school. I mean college, med school, residency and all that...and im nervous about being a doctor because when ur a doctor, u dont really have a life outside work...
And i wanna be RICH...but i also wanna find something that i love doing.
I want to be some kind of doctor, but...i dont know what. Sometimes, I'm like, I want to be a doctor and other times im like No, i dont wanna be a doctor.

I really want to watch this one episode. Its where Meg can't get a date to the dance, and Brian take her, and she becomes like, crazy in love with him and it goes out of hand and stuff. I am 38 weeks pregnant and my fiance will only be here for 4 weeks until he has to go back to college for 3 more months, 8 hours away, and I would love for him to be here for the first month of our baby's life. I need anything that will help induce labor naturally. My doctor is going to induce me next thursday if my cervix is thinned and softened enough that he thinks it will work! HELP!!

I've gotta come to the defense of the white folks on here who are not racist. All I see is whites getting called racial slurs for being against Illegal Immigration.

My question is, do you not know that its NOT only white people in America who oppose illegal immigration? Thing is, you yell about racism, yet when a White, Black , Asian or NON Mexican speaks out against it without even calling Mexicans names, you attack their culture with racial slurs. Hypocrites? of course. Youtube is a prime example.
