I recently bought a product from someone on craigs list. When purchasing I agreed to there terms and conditions without reading them and was sent a cheaper and less efficent version of the product. In the terms it stated that the original ad which got me to the website was an advertisment and it did state that I would be receiving the product I got. Basically they tricked me into buying a lesser product by advertising a better product and only telling me that in the terms and conditions I agreed to but didn't read all the way through.

I'm wondering if that's legal to do and if there is anything I can do to get my money back, I know I agreed to the terms but it's pretty decieving when it's cleverly worded in terms and conditions I had to agree to in order to purchase.

What is the best way for someone to go about this? When there is a picture of you leaning back on someone so that you can get a picture taken.....but it was on your friends birthday at a club, and the person you were with ment nothing to you. President Bush's low popularity rating in the polls is often reported by the media and many Democrats say this shows that they have an advantage and will win more Congressional seats and the Presidency in 2008.

The Democrats have a majority in both houses of Congress and Congressional satisfaction ratings are lower than Presidental satisfaction ratings.

Will this have any affect on the elections of 2008 for either Democrats or Republicans in Congress? What affect, if any, will it have on the Presidential race? Why don't Republicans that aren't in Congress using it as many Democratic candidates use the President's rating?
