christians say god brings happiness and joy to their lives...so me being a bit more materialistic than they are, i compare that to me winning 10000000 millions in the lottery and thousands of people coming to me and telling me that the money i have won is false when i am at the car shop deciding wheteher to have my Rolls Royce painted blue or black...
So if god brings you so much happiness and it is true for you why getting ofeended by people trying to invalidate that??
i wouldnt care at all if 200000 people told me that the billions i have won are unreal or fairy tales i would just enjoy them...

What is your opinion on being opinionated? I'm super opinionated and like to voice my opinion, but more importantly I like to hear other's opinions too. I'm not closed minded at all yet I always get nagged at for stating my opinion.... Do you think being opinionated is a good or bad thing?

I have a huge crush on a guy who some might politely call a loser. Mid twenties, still lives w/ parents, doesn't drive, currently unemployed, sometimes has questionable personal hygiene. I don't know him very well, he seems kind of shy, but I'm pretty sure he is attracted to me.

He is nice enough when we talk, but I don't even know him well enough to say it's his personality that attracted me. In fact, I didn't find him very attractive at first, but he grew on me for some reason.

I don't really have a problem with any of the stuff I mentioned, but I know those traits would be a huge turn off to a lot of girls.

I just can't get him outta my head, why am I so hung up on him?

My grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer, it has grown from the size of a grape to the size of a golf ball in a month. She won't do any chemo/radiation or surgery, because she wants the time she has left to be good, and the docs said she has a year left. BUT ... first, if it's grown that fast, how can she have a year? And every instance of lung cancer I've ever heard of has had the patients die much sooner ... like Peter Jennings was given six months and lived like two weeks, and another I read about was given a year and died less than three months later. How long does she have, realistically?

As a member of the community, I'm very concerned about the damage Audrey's mom did to her daughter. How do we reverse the damage done by giving her a Lexus on her birthday INSTEAD of her party?

I propose we appropriate government funds to build a time machine so we can go back and fix this terrible mistake. Any other suggestions?

A freind gave me an old Karmon Karden Subwoofer. My new receiver has coax for sub out and the sub has inputs that take head phone like jacks. Went to Radio Shack and found an adapter that converted one end of the coax cable to head phone jack but I still get no sound. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
