I have a huge crush on a guy who some might politely call a loser. Mid twenties, still lives w/ parents, doesn't drive, currently unemployed, sometimes has questionable personal hygiene. I don't know him very well, he seems kind of shy, but I'm pretty sure he is attracted to me.
He is nice enough when we talk, but I don't even know him well enough to say it's his personality that attracted me. In fact, I didn't find him very attractive at first, but he grew on me for some reason.
I don't really have a problem with any of the stuff I mentioned, but I know those traits would be a huge turn off to a lot of girls.
I just can't get him outta my head, why am I so hung up on him?

You love abusive situations? It does seem to be a popular trait among girls on this forum. He might be worth a try, and it might improve to have a chance with a terrific girl like you. But don't give him forever, make a decision and your heart will follow.

Hey who know why you like him? I mean some of the stuff does not seem so bad, but then you added the unemployed and personal hygiene. I mean that's so wrong, but who are we to judge who others fall for. You might really want to get to know this guy before you try to start anything even remotely serious. He may have some issues you do not want to or need to deal with. If you still like him after you know each other better and he likes you, then go on, go for him. Like I say who knows why we are attracted to some people more than others? All that matters is you all treat each other good and with respect.

Girl, you like this guy!!! Why can't you stop thinking about him? That's easy...'cause you like him! Yah, it might be a huge turn off to a lot of girls but, that's when it's good 'cause no one can try and take him away from you. If he is attracted to you and you're attracted to him then atleast give it a try okay?? Just be yourself around him and try to know him more.

You may be keeping this alive in fantasy so you don't have to find someone who is truly worthwhile and risk you own status and self-esteem.
