Help! Urgent! What good anti-biotic medicines for burning throat are OTC and can be bought at Walgreen?

Hi all,

I just burned my throat. I ordered some food and I ate too fast while it's still very hot. It almost choked in my throat. But now I am okay. The only problem now is that my throat is burned. I feel painful in my throat. And I am sure it will develop into sore throat and then become inflammatory. I will have to see a doctor and take some anti-biotics. If I am strong enough, I probably will be able to go through it without seeing a doctor. The problem is that I am having a light cold these days. So I am actually a bit weak. I am not sure. Given my busy schedule, I don't want it to develop into inflammatory and force me to see the doctor. Could anybody recommend some good "anti-biotics" type medicines that are good for such burning throat and so that I can confine the sickness to a limited range so that my body can sustain it? Getting inflammation will be horrible. Thank you!

I gave blood 11 days ago. A few days after I noticed a rather large bruise. It's about 6 inches long and 4 inches wide; it's not a solid bruise. It's become sore within the last 4 days. I can't bend it without it becoming painful. I've been told that my blood went under my skin. It took less than 5 minutes to give the pint of blood. What should I do?

My first day of my LMP was Oct 9th, 2006 I am on a 30 day cycle for the past 6 months. My Dr. Calculated a EDD of 7/16/07, an ultra sound is telling me my EDD is 7/21/07. I don't remember the day me and my fiance were together during the week of Oct. 21st, 2006. I was with different man on Oct.28 and had unprotected sex although he did pull out. Who is most probable to be the father, today is July 16th and I still have not had the baby. So now Im scared.

Well, since I missed all your wonderful answers... & Sunshine TC said there were quite a few funny ones... Including a Redneck one... (which I hope can be repeated!!) ... Anyway, since the system didn't like what I asked before... I'm going to try it again in a different way....

I'm in tears right now becuase of a fight my mom and I are having.

I'm pregnant and temporarily living with her.

These ex friends of mine were knocking on my window the other night and I went outside to ask them to leave because I was tired and we decided a while back we didn't want to associate with each other anymore. One of the 6 that were there threatened to kick my ***, I went in my house and called the police.

My mom told me to handle it myself, and she didn't even try to console me.

The police warned them if they didn't leave me alone charges would be filed.

Well today I tried venting about it to my mom, and she actually started blaming me for what happened and so I talked over her so she'd listen. I was hurt and scared and she said, "Well I looked at the window and you looked like you were chatting with friends."

I said, "I was in shock! They told me they wanted to beat me up!"

And she said, "Well with your personality who doesn't?"

Any advice?

I dont believe in god, I'll never be able to say he or she doesn't exist because you can't prove a negative, but I can't bring myself to believe in god. Just like I can't believe in the tooth fairy or santa clause. But I don't want to die and am fearful of what occurs after death. But I have no idea if what happens is heaven/hell.

Everyone who's told me I'm going to hell or going to heaven has never been there him/herself so how can I how much countenance can I really give their opinion since they have no special knowledge on this issue since you cant die and come back (unless you're a character in a book that may or may not have been held intact over multiple thousands of years).

So what do I do? Just believe out of fear of hell? Thats not true belief. Belief just for the sake of it is fine if there is only one god, but what if there are multiple gods as there are so many different interpretations of religion? What if I dont pick the right one?
