Being from New Orleans, that is not an easy question. I love all kinds of seafood!!! Some places I've been they have seafood, but they don't cook it good at all. If I had to choose, I guess I'd say I love crab especially snow crab legs. I love it when they're hot, and you can dip them in the butter.

shrimp, shrimp, and more shrimp. Any kind, with any sauce. I'd walk a mile for a good shrimp dinner, and I have done so. Any Red Lobster will serve you the BEST shrimp anywhere, and I have been to several and never been disappointed. Sometimes the Red Lobster restaurant has "all you can eat" shrimp, and I save up appetite and don't eat for 24 hours before so I can REALLY REALLY enjoy a LOT of shrimp. Does this sound like an AD for Red Lobster ? it should be--I LOVE THE PLACE, and would strongly reccommend it to everyone !!! Join their Overboard Club on line for discounts and meal suggestions.

My favorite fish is (in this order) Chilean Sea Bass, Ahi Tuna, and Swordfish. Three extremely different textures and flavors. Shellfish, probably rock lobster, it's quite yummy. If there is one in your area, check out Bonefish Grill. They fly everything in fresh so no matter where you are, the fish isn't old or frozen, and the food and atmosphere are excellent. It's not priced outrageously either. Great place to try different seafood and figure out what is your favorite.

The following I prepare myself:
batter dipped fried shrimp
1.shrimp in sauce
2.fillet of fish (baked, or deep fried like french fries)
3. codfish fritters (bacalaitos) it is where you cook the codfish, (I buy the one with out bones) I fillet it into tiny pieces washed in water to remove salt. Then I use flour, add some Adobe Bohio, fresh ground pepper, and an evelope of Sazon Bohio(I don't like Goya), warm water and a pinch of baking soda. Mix all until is is like pancake batter. Take a 1/4 cup of this batter and put in deep fryer hot and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels, serve hot. Any sauce can be made to acompany the fritters.
