Labs are good dogs for listening and training. I am not sure if you mean that they listen to what they are told or that they listen when you need someone to talk to. Any dog will listen when you need a friend. Hounds are not the best for training since their nose over rules all else. Of course I wouldnt trade my hound for anything she is the best beagle a person could have. Mutts are good and rescue dogs if they dont have any bad habits make true life long friends

Its not something dogs are born with. You have to train the dog. It takes time and patience and a lot of work but it pays off in the end.

all dogs can be a good listener. they have to be trained though. try obedience classes.

Bijon Frises love to listen. They will actually love it when you talk to them. They need your company. You are their daddy or mommy. They take things very seriously. Trust me; visit a pet store.
