I have been looking for a job since summer started. Now it's half way through summer and a local friendley's is giving interviews the day after tomorrow. I want a job. But my father told me that if I got one even this late in the summer it would only be for the summer. Because of school. So would walking 2 miles in the heat then spending all day every day on my feet for minimum wage or less be worth a job that will only last a max of 8 weeks? Should I even bother this late in the summer? Should I wait until something better comes along? Will something better come along? Would it be idiotic to not at least give this a try? What should I do? Should I walk two miles every day to friendley's and two miles back for money that won't even pay for driver's training? What should I do?

Do you think that a border collie is a good breed of dog for a family of 6. (2 parents, 4 kids ages, 11, 13, 14, and 15.) we are looking into a new dog in about 5 months from now. we need a good breed idea. we are thinking border collie. our last was a golden retriever. we want a smaller dog now. I've read a few versions of the Kate Penland/Garren news story online. Here's one of them, if you haven't seen it: http://www.9news.com/news/watercooler/article.aspx?storyid=73684 . Apparently, according to the stories, mom & toddler were removed from plane because child was speaking.

Most of the stories I've read that have a comments section, have people saying 'You can't really judge on this story, unless you were there yourself or have at least heard the flight attendant's version of events'.

Does anyone know if the flight attendant has told her version of this situation anywhere? Or, does anyone know of any eye witness accounts of this story from other passengers or staff who were there?

Right, so was at work yesterday and theres a guy that i've been flirting with for a while. We sort of had a moment and had a kiss . After that things were really nice and sweet. He said he would txt me later this week. Now im really impatient as Im trying to get over my ex bf and I want some sort of contact with him. What they hell are they doing? Showing off? This road isn't even 1/2 a mile long, so they can't drive very long before having to slow down anyway. Isn't it bad for your car to speed up very fast and then slow down suddenly? I doubt this guy has a high quality car as I don't live in too rich of a neighborhood.

Could they be trying to piss someone off who lives on this road?

But they do this EVERY NIGHT (at least, when I stay up past midnight) and I think it is more than one car because I will sometimes check to see what car it is and sometimes it's a different car. Maybe 2 guys competing?
