Once, a long time ago, people thought that the heart was the source of emotion, personality and such. We now know that all this lives in the mind (which is the "software" within your brain). The heart is merely a pump that keeps you alive.

No. It won't change their personality, character, intelligence... the heart pumps blood and runs the circulatory system. it doesn't think. The brain does that.

Of course, that being said, i've never been a transplant recipient. I'm sure you'd feel something was different. But considering the heart has nothing to do with personality, thought, etc, it's unlikely it would change the person. The EXPERIENCE of getting a heart and having their life saved might change them in some good ways. But they won't take on your personality....

that is ridiculous - your heart pumps blood round your body including your brain, so in the physical sense yes. But your brain does the thinking, not your heart.

Your heart tells you what is sensible(it doesnt think) . .something that you can justify should things go wrong . .While your brain goes for what is practical . .the stuff like going with the flow!
