i just bought this coin for 4.25

No, that 1878 cent does not grade good, it is over graded like most coins on EBay. It grades fair to poor. It is a filler. You can do better. If money is a problem you do what you have too, but I would save up $20 and get a true good or very good and that is a dealer price, so some will show up at auction that just may go for less. it will fill the hole in an album for now and you can upgrade when you find the right deal.
