I'm writing an essay on The Pillowman for a lit. class. One thing that has come up in my paper is a negative impact of art. In the play, the main character writes horrific stories about children being murdered, and reads these to his "slow" brother. His brother then, acts out these horrific murders on three children in the town, because he thought his writer-brother was telling him to. It also says that he wanted to see if what his writer-brother wrote could work, because they seem far fetched.

Obviously, this guy's art had a negative impact on his brother. But, I don't know what to say about it. I want to talk about it, but I really don't know what to say! I don't think art should be sensored, but this is a REALLY bad impact that art had on someone.

How do you feel about this? Should an artist take into consideration what impact his art may have? Or does the artist have no responsiblity?

Some kittens were born in our yard by a stray cat and I was trying to move one of them today and it bit me. It bit me hard enough to the point that it did draw blood. I just wasn't sure if this was somewhat risky, or if I have nothing to worry about. I washed the bite immediately..but like I said, these are stray wild kittens so I don't know what the risks are. Does anyone know?

I have started to work out more, grow out my hair some and this weekend I am going shopping for clothes. I have like 0 style at the moment.

I want to be more of a jeans, collar shirt, beach bum kind of looks. Do you know some good stores besides Wal-Mart or K-mart to find some decent clothes?

I normally stick with the factory brand or Mobil one. Bmw recommends oil changes every 15K with full synthetic oil. However, since I change the oil more often, say every 7,500 miles.....will this oil be a good choice too? The price on this one is a good deal when purchased as a gallon.

I'm thinking all synthetic oil brand's are all similar. I change the oil very often since I drive a lot, about 30K miles per year. With all the frequent changes, I thought saving a little money is not a bad idea. This is for a 2006 325i.

I have plenty of tomatoes hanging on my 10 tomatoe plants. However, they are all green and various sizes. I wonder is it now visible to cut back on watering, so that I will have red tomatoes to eat soon? I live in Northern Utah and we have extreme heat weave.

With their anti social behavior. It's not the skin color folks! It's their behavior in public that makes people shun them. What can be done to make them understand this!? If you don't know what I'm talking about it's because your to young to understand, time will educate you on this unless they change . Trust me! People don't dislike Muslims because of their race it's their social behavior. If it was the color black that was the problem people wouldn't like black cars.

I will respond to your answers later I'm sure some of the answers will prove my point about social behavior and mentality in subject.

I keep meaning to ask my useless Pediatrician about these clear crystal looking things in my daughter's diaper. I see them a lot and usually just with a wet diaper (no poo). They are really tiny, kind of like clear sand. Has anyone seen this and/or know what it is?

(-1)^(n+1) ln x /n^2 tell if converge conditionally, converge absolutely or diverge

I have been trying to use all the rules an tests to see if ln n / n^2 is convergent or divergent and can't get it.
I think the limit of it =0 so nth term test doesn't work. The ratio test didn't work for me either. Can I use the p series test? or the nth root test?

If it does converge how do you know if it is conditonally or absolutely?

If the pharaoh Hatshepsut was removed from history, then how do they know she ever existed. They say that her half-son ordered her to be erased, but if he did then all official records would have been erased. Her monuments and her tomb were hidden and all mention of her was carved out. So how do they know that she was a good ruler or that she ever ruled at all?
