Literally or metaphorically speaking? LOL I can't say that I have been walking through a "faceless" crowd, but a crowd where I recognized no faces yes....literally speaking. Metaphorically speaking yes, I have felt that way.

Oh yes. In the early stages of what was to become a suicidal depression. I lived inside my head and moved by remote control. I felt no love or joy, saw no growth or flowers or birds and was also in the grip of everclear and absinthe.
Fortunately I was able to ask for help and am now blessedly better.
