I have started to work out more, grow out my hair some and this weekend I am going shopping for clothes. I have like 0 style at the moment.
I want to be more of a jeans, collar shirt, beach bum kind of looks. Do you know some good stores besides Wal-Mart or K-mart to find some decent clothes?

since you want to get more jeans and collared shirts, try hollister co, and abercrombie. they have a variety of collared shirts and dif styles of jeans. and since you want a beach bum look, hollister would be the right store for you cuz they're whole theme is beach!

Hey, I understand where u are coming from. I am a woman, though . .so I probably won't be much help, lol. I mainly shop for women clothing on-line, because I get tired of shopping for clothing in the stores . .takes too long, not a big fan of crowded places, nor do not like many of their trendy styles. Shopping for men clothes can be very easy, because men's styles are pretty simple, lol. I'd recommend dressing casual, but clean-cut. Keep your looks simple, because the most important thing is to love the way you look naturally.
Places to shop for good-quality, and decent clothes for men:
JCPenny
Macy's (although kinda expensive)
Target
Ross for Less
Old Navy (if you want a beach, bum look . .this would be the ideal place for you to shop your clothes at)
Newport News
Kohl's
Note: If you want don't care what others think, you can find some decent, new clothing at very cheap prices at a thrift store. Believe me, some people get rid of their clothes, and they are still brand-new. I knew a female boss that always gave away brand-new clothing that she did not want to wear anymore to me (and some were very nice!), instead of making a trip to the thrift store. She always had to have a trendy-sharp look, but I really was not so concerned about this. I am the simple type. I really did not care about looking trendy, by keeping up with today's styles. I dressed the way I liked and was comfortable with; what looked attractive to me. Many of them, especially dresses for women . . look ugly to me, lol.
I can relate how you want to look for decent, good quality clothing, at a reasonable price. I don't really shop for very expensive clothing, like from Gap or Marcy's. I tend to get most of my clothing on-line, from stores that are for women only.
But, just to note, clothng don't have the be trendy or fashionable, to you to look good. Having good-quality clothing (which keeps you looking simple and decent), that will last (not fade, or tear-up on you, so easily) will make you look better.

target and aeropostale. Aeropostale i just got some jeans there marked down to 9.99 from like 54.50 plus they were half off so with tax i spent 5.34 on my jens.
