A lot of these people act on impulse. They get an idea and they do it. It could be anything, like obsesive buying, drugs, saying the wrong things. Anything really. The thing is that tehy don't take the time to think. If they just stop for 1 second and say, "wait a minute I'm doing it again" they might have a chance to change their course.

Nothing is wrong with them, they are just slow on the uptake. After over 52 years of life, I have come to the conclusion that there are just some slow learners. I never give up on them--they may take a while, but most get it eventually. Have patience, be obdurate, and be compassionate. Most folks have never had the benefit of the doubt, so give it to them; and, again, be patient.

Some people have never been taught to be aware of their actions and consequences, or at this moment their perception on things differs from you. Its just who they are for the time being. Just let them be and focus on yourself. The universe has its way of unfolding events in life. Give them the space to be who they are. In a matter of time their consciousness, awareness and perception will change, especially once they hit the age of 50, then they become wise. And that's the age when they truly become adults.
