we're having a non-traditional wedding at my moms house. and luckily they have a built in stereo system. i need music to play the whole time. from about 7pm-????
i don't want that boring 80's music that they ALWAYS play like...."when a man loves a woman"....more modern love songs.....like love song by 311 is a really good song. but i need help. i can't think of certain songs off the top of my head.....do you have a link or suggestions....????? any help would be appreciated!!!

I know this is probably a dumb question but how do you know? It was slightly wet on the ground the other day and I was cruising around in second gear and then gunned it from about 3k rpm. The engine revved very very quickly to about 5500 but the car didn't go anywhere. I was thinking did my tires not hook up or something? But I didn't hear any tires squelling and usually I think they'd hook up even being a little bit wet. Do you think my clutch is slipping? Can I test somehow to find out?

cousin fell pregnant with her second baby. My family were mostly ok with me telling them what I was planning to do, but not overly supportive/encouraging. After my cousin announced her pregnancy, EVERYBODY in the family started buying her gifts, asking about her ultrasounds, etc. Nobody has shown any interest in my adoption. The popular 'excuse' is "we don't know if it's a girl or a boy, and the age". I agree on the girl/boy thing, but plenty of people buy for a baby not knowing the sex, right? And I've requested a child between 2 and 4. That's not a huge age difference. Plus, I've told everyone many times that I'm buying a whole bunch of stuff, they could have asked me for a couple of ideas from what I planned to buy? Am I being petty, or do you think it's fair to feel upset? I don't want anything major, just a stuffed toy, or a washcloth from a dollar store, anything to say they care!

1. How to give your newborn a sponge bath? I mean, can I use a waschcloth? Do I start out with a damp one with soap, then a damp one with water? I've never given one but know you have to until the umbilical cord falls off.

2. If you put diaper rash ointment on every diaper change to prevent diaper rash, do you put it on the boys penis too? Or just the butt?

3. I live in a very warm climate. Can I dress him in just a onsie (day and night in summer) I will change the onsie at night.

4. Can I wash our clothes together if use Dreft? Or should it still be seperate even though I am using the baby detergent?

5. When can he hold up his head on his own? Should I wait until then to place him on his tummy for supervised tummy time? (NO I wouldn't leave him alone like that or let him sleep that way, I mean for strengthening the muscles)

6. About how many months did your size N or 1 pampers last you? How many/day?



These questions aren't ever addressed in magazines!

I am a 19 year old male, and in August I will be embarking on my first trip without someone with me. I am going to Germany to visit a friend for a few days, but then I will be going out on my own to explore. My mom approved of the trip, but now she is freaking out. I don't understand why We have traveled to Germany before, and we both felt very safe, even at night. And I can speak a good amount of German. But she seems to have forgotten that. She thinks I might get robbed or kidnapped, or worse. But I don't think so. I think Germany is much MUCH safer than anywhere in the US. So, is there anyway I can convince her that this won't happen to me? Also I'm visiting Leipzig and Dresden. Is there anything I should look out for in these cities, besides an occasional political demonstration? Sorry if that was a long read.
