It is seeing that things are not actually that bad. All you have to do sit in the park and try to find something bad. There may be the odd drunk, but just about everyone else will be relaxing and enjoying the day.
Putting it into perspective helps. Although an Accident and Emergency ward in a hospital on a Saturday night, or 3am when nightclubs close, may be pretty awful, the numbers of people involved is small compared to the overall population.

Mostly being on my own. I have little time for fools and I don't find many people enrich my life much! I think it is all about a personal quest for happiness. I do simple things every day that make me happier, walk the dog, play music, read my books or watch my films. Things I like

When I zone out of the cruel reality of everything going on in the world and realize how good the breeze smells, and how rejuvenating the sun feels as it beats on my skin, and how gorgeous and amazing the trees, flowers, and plants are. Things like that put me in such a good mood.

The fact that my family is not like that, and here in my home we are focused on the good things in the world. We laugh much and play much, love more!!! That's the motto of the family.

Have you thought at all about all the good things that are going on in the world? They don't attract much attention, but there they are.

I find each day a learning opportunity. I wake up ready for anything and it usually doesn't disappoint. Even the bad things teach us something.

Plugging my fender into my amp, turning up the gains and jamming with my buddies does it for me.
Hanging with my girlfriend Kate works too.
