Just seems that way to me. He is die hard pro Iraq war. Keeping US troops in Iraq is good for Israel. Pulling US troops out of Iraq can't be good for Israel.

Yes there is a connection between him being Jewish and doing something for Israel. Iraqis in the US pushed the US to go to war against Saddam and jews do the same when it comes to Israel. That's a fact. When we bring up any point noting that American jews are supporting Israel through their votes those who are jewish try to make them out to be a nazi. Get real fools. I'm just pointing out the obvious. Irish Americans have supported the IRA. Mexican Americans support Mexico if they can. Christians and Moslems may do the same for countries they feel follow their beliefs. Israel is clearly a Jewish state. Stop demonizing anyone who says anything against it. Leiberman may be supporting it. At the present time, as an American you have the right to do that ;just as other Americans have the right to believe in what they want. I am just curious if people think Lieberman should put his support of Israel before the US. That seems like something wrong in my view

You CLEARLY have tied Lieberman's Jewishness to Israel, but what about all the other Senators (and for that matter Americans) who are "die hard pro Iraq war"? Why single Lieberman out as if he is an Israeli operative or something? LOL!
For purposes of my point, let's say that I'm pro Iraq war. And you say that Israel benefits from that. I have NO TIES to Israel. Can't it be that two people, two entities, two nations, or any combination thereof simply come to the same conclusion without there having to be some sinister link between them? I dare say that I agree on millions of topics with millions of people whom I've never met. Does your mind race as to what our special ties and agreements must be? Everything is not a plot! Some things can indeed simply be coincidental.

Can someone please explain to me what the connection between Israel and the Iraq war is?
What you really meant to say is that "Lieberman is a Jew and has dual loyalty to the State of Israel and the war in Iraq is for Israel's benefit alone". But of course, if you said it like that, you would be sounding more anti Semitic than the way you actually phrased it.

Israel was well able to defend herself before Iraq or our troops there. Sen. Lieberman was re-elected by more than just the Jewish populace in his State. That tells me there are many that agree with him.

Lieberman works for the US government. If he's not re-elected he will probable artwork for a regulation company. Your question is mindless. He voted against wellness care yet Israel has public wellness care so he works for Israel. So in that reasoning you ought to artwork for al-Qaeda. Or is it the Taliban. The Brotherhood of Islam? Which?

Joe supports and defends the only functioning democracy in the region that lives under the rule of law, rather than the local reigning poobah that shot his way in to office. A nation that doesn't make it official policy to exterminate its neighbors, subjugate women, behead non-believers, and blow up civilians on buses and at shopping malls. Old Joe is a loose cannon for sure.
