Ripple

I gaze with clarity
upon translucent water,
an image of what was
neither drinking,
nor moving,
lest a drop distort.

Nothing remains the same.

What is there to say
that hasn’t been said. Can we
capture in a shell the power of
what we felt? Cup our hands to hear
rushing waves—echoes of words
unspoken.

Nothing will ever be the same.

We clung like morning mist
under an unforgiving sun.
Tracing what had already been traced.
Fingers outstretched, grasping
like pale rivulets running down our bodies.
I loved you once, perhaps you loved me;
but how does that matter?
You are no longer here,
lost in the shimmer and expanse
of ripples spreading apart

I tell you, nothing is the same anymore.

Okay, I just got to see the season finale last week and hated it. Yes I thought Sapharri or whoever she was deserved to win but Mo'nique is a lying *****. She said that the show was to improve the girls and that's who would win. Um ... hello Buckwild/Becky improved the most by far and she was let go. That's nothing but b/s what Mo'nique said and she's full of it. What do y'all think about it?

i have wanted a dachsund since before i can remember, i even had to have stuffed ones as a child; the only stuffed dog i would get! my husband on the other hand absolutely adores basset hounds; hes also a hunter and wants good hunting dog. anywy. we have 2 young children (4 and 10 months) plus #3 n the way. are either of these breeds good as family dogs? would they be ok with children so young? how are they sharing attention? positives/negatives to both breeds greatly appreciated! please only answer if you really know one breed or the other; answer on the breed you know. id really like honest personal experience; not "well i heard...". thanks so much!!

I have been dating this guy for about three months now and after sex, he asked me if he was better than my ex in bed. I told him that i would assess him seperately and after i him, i told him that he was average in bed but we could improve on it together as time goes on because the first time is not always great and he got sad and unhappy...

With olive oil and lemon juice (drink ¼ cup olive oil every 15 to 25 mins, and 2 tabsp lemon juice with every dose of olive oil... until you've drunk 1 pint of oil and 250ml (½ pint?) lemon juice?

If yes, how did it go? I have just done mine last night. I feel shaky and horrible, but at least it didn't hurt. I don't know yet if it has worked.

What was your experience with the gallstone cleanse?

Okay I was told by a shrink that i have bipolar disorder. They put me on wellbutrin, it gave em terrible migranes. Straight off of wellbutrin onto lexapro, that gave insomnia. They will not prescribe me anything else, is it really possible to control the issues in my head without medication?

You know, I might not agree with a supporter of the Iraq War, but I can certainly respect one who says something like "This war is a noble and righteous cause, now if you'll excuse me I have to get to the recruiting station," or "This war is important to America. I know because I've done two tours there."

Now, I do not believe you have to have served in the military or fought in war to have a positive opinion of the Iraq War. After all it is your opinion and your right to have that opinion. Just try to understand what your argument sounds like.

"This war is noble and just, but not quite noble and just enough for me to take any risks or make any sacrifices. Only noble or just enough for other people to take the risks and make the sacrifices."

"This war is necessary to the security of the US, but not quite necessary enough for me to spill my blood, or my family to mourn, only necessary enough for other people's blood to be spilled or other families to mourn."
